I really don’t care I think it was a really pointless thing to spend time on and change. I will still get whatever gear I need it’s more so that people will defend blizzards every move, crap like this happens to people all the time there’s zero reason to not give notice of changes in game instead of a forum reply.

Nah u guys are trippin Im with OP. This is annoying as fk. What they should have done was had epics in the vendors last week but just put “unavailable until season 3” so we would all know to save our tokens if we wanted to.
I am guessing they were still coding the stuff in and were really behind given all the vendor issues they had. Insane how everyone is defending blizzard. They clearly dropped the ball on the vendors these past two weeks for a paid subscription game.

I literally don’t care dude, it’s shill troll responses like kennies that drive my typing war. I bought a few pieces and a staff expecting to upgrade one today. Didn’t play all weekend because there was nothing to do. Got on today found out this Garbo and thought it was not only a pointless waste of time to change but to think it made sense to respond to a forum post that netted 4K views when you have over 8m subs is just dumb. Whatever I had to waste an hour of my time getting more tokens still shouldn’t have happened.
And you can’t upgrade anything with trophies you have to buy the new “hero” pieces

the trophies of strife weekly quest that lets you upgrade one of them takes like MAYBE 15 minutes

You can NOT upgrade them. You just buy the hero piece which requires bloody tokens that I had already spent. I wasted an hour and got them back. The point was their communication practices are ridiculous and make zero sense. Don’t care to go back and forth with you none of us will be here in like a month because as of right now the game feels horrible and I will /afk every 3s match that touches 5 minutes long.

OP is spot on and anyone saying differently is a troll. The system has worked the same since launch. ToS can be used to upgrade pieces gained through purchase and WQs. A huge change this significant should have given an in game warning that the piece you were purchasing was not upgradable in PvP combat. Even streamers were complaining about this and they legit read blue posts in stream all the time. These forums are notoriously some of the most toxic of any gaming community. Don’t loose sleep over trolls OP hold the devs accountable.

We have had countless trolls in here find a new gimmick. You cannot in good faith argue that changes being announced in a reply with 4k views when there is 8m+ subs is acceptable end of story.
