UPDATE - Now that we know the next expansion, I will mention how War Within has very similar themes with Mists of Pandaria.
Legion < - > The Burning Crusade
Battle for Azeroth < - > Vanilla WoW
Shadowlands < - > Wrath of the Lich King
Dragonflight < - > Cataclysm
War Within < - > Mists of Pandaria
… but wait, the War Within isn’t taking place in Pandaria?!
Think of the Mists of Pandaria cinematic, where it starts off with the Horde and Alliance fighting each other onto an unknown island where a bigger threat is among them.
And what does the Orc and Human fighting do? They hand each other a weapon.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” is a theme in Mists of Pandaria and probably will be in War Within.

Only if garrosh is in the new pandaland.
I’d be surprised if there was another expansion. I reckon this’ll be it for WoW in its current form.
I still go to the farm when I level new characters so I’d be fine with this. But I think we may be going back into space, unless Azshara and Xal’atath are hiding in Pandaria since they’re also loose ends.
Alliance gets Grummles and Horde get Mogu?
Horde gets the ooken dookers and Alliance gets the blub blub Bikini Bottom dwellers.
