Are you intentionally trolling or are you colorblind? Because Death Knights have distinct of grayish skin color than other classes.
No it wouldn’t. I don’t know what they’d ask for afterwards but after getting skin colors, hairs styles and colors there are still threads asking for more for Void elfs. Void Elf players are never going to be happy.
That’s not a class skin, that’s a skin customization texture unique to a class. The idea of a class skin is a cosmetic change to animations and spell effects, and possibly even flavor text, for an existing class, so that it looks like a completely different class while still being identical to an existing one mechanically. For example, a “Dark Ranger” skin that changes the spell effects and animations of a hunter spec, or a “Necromancer” skin that changes a demonology warlock’s demon minions into undead ones.
Ah, I see your either unaware what these forums refers to class skins or your trolling.
When people refer to class skins is basically changed and customizable spell effects to match a theme or spell school.
What your referring to would be DK customizations, not what this forum considers class skins.
This. Good work on defining it.
LMFAO! The answer to this is always no.
This could be a potential path Blizzard could take to justify given Paladin class to Void Elves.
They would have to create a 4th spec and call it Void Knight like how they do for Shadow Priest.
They could also create inscriptions to change the light looks on powers in the other specs to void.
This would probably be the best solution without having to create a whole new class to balance if they really wanted to give Paladins to Void Elves.
I wish blizzard would put some work into the game.
But I am afraid that’ll forever remain a wish unfulfilled.

4th spec and call it Void Knight
In a class that is embued with the light in their knight ceremony?
Yeah no, if anything the 4th spec should be a dw paladin spec about zealotry with a talent “tell me your secrets”
Well they already do this with the Priest Class.
Lightforged Draenei don’t use the Void but its there for game mechanic purposes.
They could reskin spells to have a void look for Void Elves and put them under the Paladin banner for game mechanic purposes.
I think this could be a solution to justify it without having to create a new class to balance.
I think its a good idea to look into.
Might as well just do Death Knight at that point.
Or just normal warrior.

In a class that is embued with the light in their knight ceremony?
The only evidence that supports them being imbued with the Light is the ceremony done by the original Human Paladins of the Silver Hand which was several in-universe years ago. Based on the Legion Paladin Order Hall Campaign, they did not do the same process to welcome Delas Moonfang. We also never had information regarding other Paladin races/organizations undergoing similar processes as the original Paladins of the Silver Hand, so therefore claiming that all members of the class are imbued with the Light isn’t accurate.

Priest
They don’t have inner light, they channel light, kinda like how a river flow, they choose where that river goes.
Paladins are like dams, they are filled with water and chooses when to open the dam when they weild the light.

they did not do the same process to welcome Delas Moonfang.
I did that quest, she did have light enter her being as she became a paladin, so this statement is false.

Paladins are 100% Light. Void and Light are opposite, no matter what color your hair is.
Thread ended before it began.
lol you know your thread has a trash take when the first few posts opposing it are from your same faction.
More paladins? And they aren’t gnomes?
Gnothanks
Read the previous posts, the whole point of choosing Alleria’s teachings and getting banished from Silvermoon was to follow many paths as opposed to the light’s single unquestionable path.
They are not going to redo an entire class just to accommodate one race wanting the option for that class
I’m just not that into elves. All my toons are burly men with hairy chests and beards cause that’s my type.
Ultimately, whether it happened in her instance or not, that doesn’t change things.
The only examples of Paladins being “infused” (we don’t know at all what the nature of that means, as it can just as easily simply be a blessing rather than infusion like how Void Elves are infused) with the Light are those indoctrinated by the Silver Hand. There is still no evidence to support that other Paladin individuals/races/organizations undergo the same process nor is it explicitly mentioned that it’s needed to become a Paladin. Therefore, it is still not applicable to claim that Paladins are infused with the Light.
Technically those are all sources of light, in the case of Zandalari/Tauren it’s just a more natural source of light from a Sun god/Sun Loa. But even the Sunwell is a Light source (and a pretty big one), this is why Nether prince Dur’zaan wanted to use Alleria to corrupt it, because a source of Light that big would make an equally substantive Void well.
Sure once the horde gets Blood Elf druids
