Why not? I just quit healing so I can run enhance pve and pvp. I’m not reconfiguring my bars to heal until tri spec is in place!

At the very least let us save bar loadouts. This is the most annoying part.

addons can already save your bar loadout
I have never found one or talked to anyone that has found one in 15 years. I have had people say X addon does it, and they never do what im talking about
So please if you have an addon where i can press a button and swap between preset bar loadouts link it. Im sure many people would appreciate knowing

They wouldn’t give dual spec to classic or crusade despite how much it would have helped those doomed games so you can bet wrath will never get a tri spec either.
This is why not. People use multi-spec to set and forget, not to actually learn their talents or abilities.
Personally, I’d prefer a single spec that you could reset for free in any major city.
However, for people who would prefer the ability to set and forget, then we could just remove talents and talent trees altogether.
Instead have specs like: PVE Healing, PVP Healing, etc. why even bother with anything else if people are just going to copy a spec from a site and never think about it?

Because the theorycrafters need something to do. Tons of talent load outs are valid, but the theorycrafters found the best one and shared it.
That’s like saying having three differently itemized chest pieces from the loot tables is just a waste because only one of them is good. One of them is BIS when paired with other BIS items, so it only seems like the others are a waste, because someone else already did the math for you.

But yeah, what you’re saying was also kind of my point… though my preference is to encourage others to take the time to play and explore their classes themselves rather than give them tools to ignore interesting parts of the game.
This doesnt make any logical sense to me. How does having to reconfigure your bars help you learn a spec?

Well, having to reconfigure your bars may not be the greatest example of learning your spec, it may be helpful to see that there’s really only a rotational difference of say a couple of skills, which you may use macros for and have them commented/uncommented based on spec.
You’re right though… and a lot of people would probably end up using an addon to manage their bars for them if it wasn’t handled by the game client.
Retail is that way
