That run-on sentence was painful to read, no offense.
Shew troll go away lol
Rather than a full reset, letting people reallocate a handful of points a week seems like a more reasonable compromise.
(I don’t want the ability to reset or reallocate myself, just putting idea of a less drastic alternative out there…)
Hope we get this soon my profs are all screwed up even looked at a guide but tbh the guides are wrong and now I’m screwed with both my profs on 2 chars. Worst prof expac ever.
For how dumbed-down and casual-friendly this game has gotten since WotLK in order to cater to players who want do, un-do, re-do, and un-do again their choices, I’m truly stunned that such a permanent function even exists in this game. One wrong mouse click and you’re stuck with a profession you don’t want??? Are you guys dumb?
Even in OG Vanilla classic, professions weren’t this unforgivable–You could just unlearn and re-level the whole skill. And back in Vanilla, professions were actually linear and easy to understand.
Get it together, please. You are hemorrhaging humans.
people still can do exactly that but if they want all the knowledge points from treasures they need to pick another profession.
Have most of my trees filled out, except Mail under leather working. So I don’t really need a reset. If the specialties were expanded in the future, then I might take advantage of resets if they were available.
That would be nice. People say wait 6 months, why wait… do it now
The issue with having profession resets be available is that it effectively makes the whole talent tree system pointless. Professions are meant to be a long term investment where you specialize in one or a few things and expand your abilities as time goes on. If that weren’t a thing then people could easily swap between different specs and tank the effective price of items to nearly worthless. a 30 day cd that was suggested may be a good compromise between the two concepts but i do think there needs to be at least some kind of limitation on it otherwise it becomes nothing more than just more buttons to press in between making items.
This system sucks. They allow us to change talent points at a whim but not these profession talent points. What’s the difference?
I’ve been 800/800 Blacksmithing for about 4 months now, honestly the biggest limiting factors are choosing the right path to go down initially, and the procurement rate of the Dragon Shards of Knowledge…
