I like the T4. T5 seems so…plain.
We have to get to Hyjal to complete the look
I don’t see how withholding content is an improvement… especially in regards to that the 25person content currently in game aren’t really proper raids… they are more like ony style single boss instances…
Exactly. T5 gear both existed and was used in arenas back in the day. They didn’t hold back HWL/GM weapons because they were better than BWL/MC weapons. They didn’t ban naxx gear from BG’s because it was better than the pvp gear. Sometimes BiS gear isnt obtained in your preferred content. That doesn’t justify holding back over 75% of launch 25m raid bosses.
so what if it was launched back in the day? this is a new version, with changes, made to bring in more revenue from players who left retail or wanted to relive older nostalgia.
bored? go pvp. don’t like pvp? quit min-maxing the games to death, and you won’t need more “new content” a month later.
if you was an elf, you’d remind me of the angry lil elf in Elf. =]
You are aware that older nostalgia includes raiding right? We have 3/13, or 23% of the “reasonably available” (so not hyjal) 25m raid bosses that were available in the game at launch, and it’s been over 2 months. This ain’t zoomer mentality. All I want is the launch content that hasn’t been delivered.
This would be the equivilent of holding back MC till phase 2 classic to “protect world pvp”
I agree that T5 should have been the same way it was in original TBC.
The current tier was dead after a fortnight. Big mistake asking us to coast on just Kara/Mag/Gruul for months.
Big mistake indeed. If for some reason we don’t have T5 by the end of this month you’re gunna see a mass exodus. Blizz just keeps giving players reasons to leave. 3 bosses with a glorified UBRS isn’t even enough content for 2 months.
Nah, people would be on their like 7-8th kael kill already, bored of t5 asking for t6, game would be over in 6 months
Some would yeah. But most raiders understand that they’re not gunna release everything at once. 4-6 months for a full raid tier is perfectly acceptable. It’ll give everyone time to finish it, and gives people time to gear up.
Notice I specified full raid tier. 3 bosses and a 10m raid is not a full raid tier. We have less than 25% of the 25m raid bosses that were available at launch. Asking for launch raids isn’t insane. I’m not asking for BT/Hyjal, or SWP. I’m asking for raids that were in the game at launch, and at this point of actual BC, fully cleared.
A lot of guilds are going to start collapsing over the course of Phase 2. Predicting Kael and Vashj will be a brick wall for a lot of folks.
its on PTR and idk if they exactly care about the actual game right now lol
whining on the forums aint gonna make it any faster.
So it took them 73 days to kill vashj? Ok but if T5 was released from the start we’d have guilds that killed Vashj after 2-3 days? If T5 opened right now we’d still overtake original TBC as I guarantee they’d kill Kael the same day which in original TBC wasn’t cleared for still another 2 months
And? What does it matter? The people that are going to do it in a few days are going to do so no matter what because they have been doing it week for 15 years. They are not the norm or even representative of the norm.
I have no idea why you think that’s a valid argument for Blizzard tanking the game.
That’s reason enough for Blizzard to change the release schedule.
Chill.
Yup.
I honestly doubt this. Vashj is all about P2 and like we’ve seen in the past with “boss spawns adds and raid has to keep up with the waves”, people are just way more proficient at keeping up with it. Vashj P2 just isn’t all that super serious compared to the likes of Muru.
Similarly, Kael’thas is all about having sufficient DPS to burst that shield down in time, which people have in droves already.
All the fights have their learning curves and moments, but once you’ve seen what you need to do, execution is all that remains and finding a method to deal with it. Unlike the variety of ways people have come up with doing P1 Mag, Vashj and KT just don’t have as much variety. The biggest stumbling block with either of them is the fact that the fights are very lengthy so screw ups eat a ton of raid time.
They’ll be pugged by the end of the first month of Phase 2.
Once again, who cares? The 1% that’s gonna blow through it are gonna blow through no matter what. They aren’t close to being representative of the average raid team.
I’m glad Tier 5 wasn’t out at launch and that arena seasons follow alongside the same tier levels. Having tier 5 at launch for original tbc is irrelevant.
This is better. WAY better. If people are bored and raidlogging for a few months then so be it. Do something else. You can wait for s1 to finish and run its lengthy course thank you.
So I should suffer with less than 25% of the launch 25m raids so pvp’ers don’t get butthurt?
It’s completely insane that blizz will tank this game for Arena but here we are
Pretty much. So sad
