We need some kind of raid currency for buying loot

The drop rate is quite bad in bfd. I understand epic should not be easy to get. But the sad drop rate and bad luck roll is beating ppl too hard. And it spreads toxic like lfm no caster, no leather etc. or certain drop is reserved. Ppl have to buy gold to get gear upgrades if they can get the loot from raid.
So we need some kind of currency/ boss killing credit for every raid members. So ppl don’t waste their time on playing the game. For example we had a big leather night last raid. Our mails and casters didn’t get anything, even there was one caster ring, it’s like 5 ppl were rolling on it, which means 4 of them wasted 1-2hrs for getting nothing. This is bad game design, ppl will drop out and stop playing the game.
Why can’t we get credit for killing each boss. And use it to buy/craft raid loot from npc? Not saying it has to be easy to get. A blue can be equivalent to 5-10 runs. An epic can be 15-20 runs. Just so everyone gets rewarded for playing the raid

Ive put the raid together every single lockout since the first week and I’ve only gotten 2 pieces of gear . Last nights raid every single boss only dropped mail.

Epic? I haven’t missed a single lockout and still don’t even have my blue druid weapon. The problem is the loot tables are so oversaturated with garbage.

I pugged some raid, and I only need the epic xbow, but some of the pug team wiped at last boss. So for some lockouts I wasted 2-3 hrs on playing. And no one will take a dps who can only do last boss….
We have family and work, don’t have that much time to play a game if I don’t feel it’s rewarding.
But if we get credit for the bosses we killed. I won’t might join any raid ( even with first timers) because I know every time I play the game, I am a bit closer to my goal. And it will involve more players to join the game

I’ve been running it every lockout, and my druid JUST got it last lockout. It doesn’t like to drop.

I’ve lost every single roll save one, in which everyone else already had the item. There are so many people that wear leather it’s insane. A token system would have benefited for sure because a lot of us didn’t even come close to gearing out. In fact, I lost three rolls two raids in a row and avocated for some sort of pvp gear equivalent so I could keep up with everyone.

Even it dropped, you still have to roll on it. Imagine what if another first timer Druid won it? The game now creates toxic atmosphere instead of joy and fun

Eh, i personally don’t mind when i raid with my guild and help gear up others even if nothing drops for myself. I have fun with the whole experience and chance of it all. I think currency is kinda lame and a change in the wrong direction. I never did like that change in wotlk when it did happen.

Join a guild with DKP or EPGP?

LOL you have to be trolling.

This isn’t retail you don’t get personal loot kiddo.

Just wait for 40 man raids where bosses drop like 1-3 pieces of loot.

Well I am not kid anymore, that is why I do t have time to waste on a game if it’s not fun anymore. Ppl will drop out in the end. You can be very lucky on loot and rolling. But not everyone. Only playing with certain friends or guildies, only makes the game smaller, ppl have to be on of us, or you might just be the one lfm dps no leather/ no cloth in trade channel

This isn’t retail you aren’t supposed to get every item you want.

Sorry, the doors that way ---->

Some guilds went all of Classic vanilla never seeing a single thunderfurry.

This makes upgrades feel important.

The gear is going to be obsolete in a few weeks. Too late to change BFD now.

Fun Fact – whatever you won or purchased you’ll be throwing away in a couple of weeks when the next levels come out.

I wouldn’t mind a system where everyone gets a raid token for Akumai kills that can be collected and turned in for specfic items that you never got.

No one asked though.

Since you are casual, keep it at that and don’t worry about loot. Don’t see the issue here.

That is why classic was also quite dead if not hc or sod. Ppl either fully maxed out or dropped out. You can’t even lfg for some lower level content. And I don’t play retail or woltk. I am hoping sod can be a good game which everyone enjoyed it, not a game for hc top players only

Haven’t seen a single mage robe, then last week and this week our main raid and alt raid have gotten 5 or 6. My mage has 2 BIS robes just to swap runes, he also has warlock soul shard bag, lost the roll for the second warlock bag, and has the blackwater 2.7 speed sword.

Never seen the staff, seen the neck only 1 time, seen the SP ring 0 or 1 times, never seen SP book off geli, never seen the tattered SP hat off sarevess.

Classic wasn’t dead LOL.

You are coping right now.

You don’t deserve loot for coming to 1 raid. In classic it’s a social system. You show up to many raids and do your job then maybe you get some loot.

they should just remove the lockout in the final week that would be way better
