except the mounts need to be like the Gastropod Shell toy, and when you run over someone else on a mount they get dismounted.

Hahaha! That would be great! They should also leave a slime trail behind them that slows players that step in it.

What they didn’t tell you is it moves at real snail speed. For the immersion!

well I think that’s only fair, if my snail mount causes your horse to disappear (not permanently of course, but you get dismounted) then you’ve gotta have plenty of opportunity to get away.

it would actually be the perfect solution to the mammoth mount mailbox campers.

While I’m glad the snail mount aficianados are being listened to and have had Blizzard respond to their very fine request, I think they may have jumped the line a bit.

Quoting a very wise bovine from another thread:

  2. duck :duck: companion pets
  3. duck :duck: hunter pets
  4. duck :duck: mounts
  5. the mechanized versions of all four ducks :duck: above

The players have been CLAMORING for YEARS for Blizzard to add these to the game, and yet they have refused and subs continue to drop. Coincidence? I think not!

Also, once we have achieved our duck dreams, we can move onto our next efforts: adding kangaroos :kangaroo: :kangaroo: :kangaroo: to the game!

the weirdest part about the whole duck thing, is we have duck bobbers for our fishing lines.

how do we have duck bobbers if no ducks exist anywhere in azeroth to model them after?

Larger races would ride on their backs, but the gnomes and vulupas could ride in their pouches.

So they could be a limited two person mount.
