Some people have to give quite a bit of notice to use PTO especially more than a week for the launch of a game like this.
So we need you guys to hurry with release date so people like us can go ahead and get our plans squared away, so we can be prepared and ready to go for launch.

Why do you need to take time off when servers are launched? Couldn’t you take the time off when you dont have to worry about taking time off?
Had to pick my vacation back in January lol decided to just go ahead with September 1st-20th

Do what EA did with Apex Legends and announce the release a few hours before it actually comes out.

Wife was talking to me about this the other day, the issue for her isn’t necessarily a lack of notice as much as so many people like to take time off during the summer. As long as there’s space, she should be fine up to a month from release, provided it’s not all booked up.
Sooner we know, the better.

Need in this context is right. If you need something to happen to do something else thsn using need is in correct context. “If they just said i need a release date now” then they would be using need wrong.
We need a release date asap. I don’t wanna lose player base because blizz can’t get their bleep together for this.

Nothing to do with a video game is classified as a “need”, sorry. Missing out on vacation requests is not a “need”. I’m sure the people who are that obsessed will take sick days or take vacation later. If their lives can be adjusted, it’s not a “need”.
People wanting vanilla servers have waites 12 years for this. Like another 6 months wont lose much
The need is associated with getting the time off. Your right they want a release date so they can play the game but some people NEED to have vacation requests in by a certain date.
