Its not the feature people dont like, its the grouping with strangers that they dont like while telling people to group with strangers to make “friends” to circumvent looking for a group to pug a dungeon.
Or they dont want to carry people, or whatever other useless and debunked argument people want. You can make a group yourself and use the dungeon finder. You can pull from your guild, your friends list, or whatever else to avoid grouping with random people.
Heroics have already ran their course for the majority of the playerbase. Just today i spent 40+ minutes as a tank waiting for people wanting to do 1 dungeon. Because it wasnt the daily it took forever, longer than i would have sat in any queue. Was it a struggle like people keep claiming misrepresenting what is actually happening? No, it wasnt a struggle, and it wasnt hard either. A struggle would imply there is a difficulty to finding a group. Being at the whim of the rest of the playerbase is not a difficulty.
If im waiting on a certain bus to go to a certain destination, its not a struggle, but it is annoying when your bus is 40 minutes late and the bus driver asks if you can drive the bus instead of being a passenger.
Yes, i have waited for a dungeon, asked to fill a role, join group for said role, for the group to say someone else is that role and for me to do something else. And today i lost the tank legs to a dps rolling for their off role. If RDF was in the game i wouldnt care about it so much.

How was this in any way, shape, or form relevant to my point about the daily being tied into RDF when it was released?
The daily being ties to RDF is a minor factor. They could literally leave both methods in. Next to no one would notice.
So don’t use any of those tools and keep on enjoying the game?

I explained it. Its not that the daily is tied to it, people dont want to group with randoms even though they want you to play with randoms to “make friends” because these people dont understand how humans work.
And the daily tied to the RDF has absolutely no impact on anyone. Guess what, you can make a guild group and knock out the heroic daily. It gives gives you a random dungeon to do without putting you with random people.
These arguments for the anti-RDF team are horribly misinformed.
I literally explained how it would impact me and my friend group. You can go back and reread it if you need a reminder.
It literally wont impact you and your friends unless you and your friends dont play together.
We would no longer be able to run one heroic every day for our two dailies and the mount. Instead we would have to run two randoms and then direct queue into UP to do what we do now. This would change how we play the game on a daily basis.
Why do you need to do the normal daily? And so what. Chances are you arent going to get the mount anyways, at least not for all of you. But what happens if you all do and the normal daily is eventually replaced with the weekly raid?
Your little temporary thing you do daily is just that, temporary. RDF will benefit everyone.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ALL GET THE MOUNT AND THE DAILY NORMAL IS REPLACED WITH THE WEEKLY RAID?

You never asked what happens when I get the mount, you said chances are Im not getting it. So looks like I will be running it for awhile. And since I’m going to be running it for awhile I will keep doing that as my daily heroic and when the weekly normal turns to a weekly raid I will do UP and all the raids I continue to do.

Okay so what happens when I get the mount and the daily normal changes to daily raid, I switch out my daily UP for the daily UK heroic since its super quick and easy and I never want to random into Oculus if I don’t have to. Satisfied?

Probably by the ICC patch. That is when it was added originally so that’s perfectly fine. I have no problem with that.
