By all means, carry on. I was simply taken aback.
Eh, honestly, I was considering making this thread for a little while. I just thought it would, as we’ve seen before and you are right for feeling this way, fruitless. But they say they pay attention.
Screw it. You know I love ya and I agree with ya. We can be taken aback together if we somehow get some kind of benefit outta the thread. lol
I think it would be nice to have exclusives for every level of content. Your world players, your collectors, hell even “did x pvp pet battles this expansion”. Incentivize and reward people for doing the content at the time.
This time is different.
Just like all the other times coincidentally before an expansion release that it was different.

Well, there’s one easy thing they could do.
I’ve been saying for years that they need to be consistent between PvP rewards and raid rewards.
For years, now, PvP rewards are limited to that season only, and then go away forever. Meanwhile, raid rewards like mounts and titles stick around forever. Anybody can go into a raid ten years later, 1-shot the boss, and get the title. And (with a little luck) the mount.
I think they should be consistent, and have always said that I don’t care if they do it either way, they just need to use the same approach for both.
If the game needs more FOMO stuff, just yank the titles and mounts from Mythic when the expansion’s over.
I agree. It’s underwhelming that raiding has so few “special” rewards these days. ![]()
I totally agree. I’ve said more than once I think that mythic mogs and mounts should no longer be obtainable once a patch is over. Or, that if people defeat a certain amount of bosses on mythic, that there should be an ensemble given to those people and then the mogs pulled because – I mean, you don’t wanna screw a team 9/10 mythic for one reason or another. They still earned the mog at that point as far as I’m concerned.
No thanks. People shouldn’t be punished for not being around when there’s something time-limited. Whether it’s life being too busy, not knowing about the game’s existence, or just not feeling like playing at the moment.
More FOMO content is not good for WoW. Cyclical content (that is persistent) would be preferable over FOMO.
Nah, it’s great to have a reason to play now. ![]()
Back from the Beyond was good. None of it was difficult, but it did need you to do a broad across-the-board spectrum of the game, from the raids to the covenant activities to the maw assaults.
Having an equivalent each expansion would be terrific. Just tell people about it in advance.
It would also be nice if it came with a teleport spell to that expansion’s hub. Like if Back from the Beyond gave a teleport to Oribos.
It’s more likely that they’ll just whine and cry that the rewards from last expansion aren’t available anymore.
I’ve been playing and active since Vanilla, so you’d be wrong. The forums absoluetly had their share of whining over not being good enough to get them and whining they were gone the next expansion.
Whole game is like that. Every season you have so much stuff that you can obtain its absurd. What do you want more? All old content to be gone after its over so you can feel special. Freaking troll
I watched the interview, and I’m aware not as many people engaged with it as did not. Roughly 1 in 3 players did at least one challenge and 1 in 10 did them all for a class. That’s a far cry from not being accepted as the poster I replied to suggests.
I was never once talking about whether it was accepted. I was talking about the complaining even when they were back to back to back.
Uh. No it’s not?
Seasonal PvP rewards and KSM. That’s the only time sensitive rewards for ‘challenging’ situations we have right now. Raiding has nothing. And there was no mage tower or challenge mode type of content for BFA or SL.
The ‘whole game’ is not like that. And I am not a troll for having this opinion. I’m entitled to my thoughts.
There’s really not too much worth collecting outside of PVP rewards, no.
The WoD Challenge Mode rewards (the arsenal of weapon transmogs) was terrific.
The MoP bug suit was ugly. I still have it in the box. And it did nothing for my other characters.
We need more account-wide stuff. I still think our gear should be account-bound instead of soulbound, so we can send our old gear to our alts as hand-me-downs instead of vendoring it for a pittance of gold.
The special effects on all the recolors is looking to be an across the board special in DF for Mythic/Glad/KSH. So there is that!
More than enough. You even have achievements, some questlines won’t be the same etc. So like most of posters agree, we have abundance of time sensitive content
