Sadly I honestly do not think the company will ever give in to this. I seem to remember there was certain female backlash over this. As a older woman I am baffled by this thinking and mindset.
I mean during the summer I see many women wearing next to nothing and yet if you look at many Social Media you find mostly Women parading around in next to nothing. Yet this game is trapped by a few?
I have played many other MMO’s and they all had some of the most beautiful transmogs Aion I think had some of the most beautiful outfits and I have been looking at FF and the transmog they have there are really beautiful. Even LotRo had a amazing transmog system in place.
I hope that when blizzards decides to grow up and stop catering to certain groups will make transmogs that work well on both Male and Female and make the appearance the same on both.
lmao really there are so many problems with game atm. You can have the skimpy clothes you want cause there will be no one playing to see it. This is a joke of a request. 1/10 its not Sunday. Oh btw this is a game not a catwalk for models.
You say it’s a joke request. It’s not it’s been one of the topics people have been waiting for the company to address honestly not blow smoke up our collective backsides. I don’t think you realize that the company can’t even give the same answer to this issue.
I have to agree with Danamekaat . I have played Aion and lotro and ff and I love their clothing transmogs more than the clothing transmogs on this game Its so much nicer and suits the games more than the transmorgs in warcraft
It doesn’t even need to be skimpy, how about just nicely colored and stylish. I’ve been playing this game a long time and most our armor is sooooo dull. MOP made some of the gear nice with blues and gold but besides that I transmog all that followed. Dull and ugly. Maybe Blizz needs more lady art creaters doing gear art so that we can get some nice pieces we don’t need to transmog over.
Really like Hello have you seen some of the games CHINA puts out they have more skimpy mogs than this does. I don’t care what China thinks and thats part of the reason the game is dying is the pandering and catering to CERTAIN people or GROUPS instead of to all.
IMO: It is the bible thumping idiots that have problems with showing skin in a video game. It is corrupting young minds they say. Ummmm….watch a little television or even watch the nightly news. It’s all about 90% violence and 10% about bad sexual behaviors. Read the bible, it’s full of the same stuff.
The reason bliz is really sketchy about toons showing skin, the bloody lawyers make millions off the stupid people sueing them.
I think people forget that this issue was made worse by Mr Chris Metzen and his daughter conversation.
I have now started to notice many female NPC are no longer wearing skimpy clothing or they have been removed from the game a Prime example is Ysera
she wore the same a Alexstrasza and now her daughter is dressed in a robe. Even Jaina was edited due to to much cleavage. What really bothers me is NOT the fact that men like it, it’s the fact that Feminist are the issue.
And I hardly see the bible thumping people making a huge issue. Go to the owner of Wowhead who had a huge issue with Tracer pose forcing the company to change it.
I know there is all kinds of “reasons” why they do it. In my younger days (hint: I am an old fart), I played dungeons and dragons. It was accused, and sometimes still is, of devil worshipping. (I wonder if Diablo series was in court because of it’s content) There are certain factions in society that are always trying to “save” us from ourselves. It’s really funny, because if you take a close look at their beliefs and their history, it is full of bad actors.
That maybe true but your not Looking at the company and THAT is where the issue is and the fact the company caves in to stupid and mindless things and remains stubborn over things that would better the game is mind boggling.
I’m over 50 so I am protected by age but to see so many who just throw the victim card out is really sad. I am amazed how backwards this company really is people have been asking for transmogs for years and the company refused and when they finally add it they see how popular it is. Yet they go into puritan mode and limit what you can transmog.
Where the other games listed have allowed people to explore what they can come up with for outfits. The company is it’s own worst enemy and it puts in place self destructing polices that are actively destroying the game.
it’s as simple as the fact that the developer are against it. That’s probably why we haven’t gotten the night elf heritage armor, it’s just too revealing.
If we have Gnome Warriors fighting Orcs, then we def. can have agile girls with little clothing speedblitzing hulks. I disagree with big things in everything. I mean, look at Rogue sets, how do you go stealthing with many of them?
The problem is they haven’t created any other type of skimpy gear in a quite a long time. The options that are there are so outdated and blotchy looking so it’s unappealing to transmog into.
The arguement can be made well WoW is not that type of game. That isn’t true, there was more variety of that gear back in 2004.
Why they regressed into like -1950s is beyond me. It’s a form of expression people should be able to wear what they want on their fantasy characters. Also in a safe place where it is not scrutinized, compared to irl.
What is wrong with wanting more options on a video game. More so when a majority of video games already do this and it isn’t a weird situation at all.
