We need more realms of death

I’m still coming with y’all to the Dragon isles though…jumps in your arms “I’m freeee!!”

Because those realms are the four main important ones to keep the machine of death running.

If they only use 4 zones, they really only have 4 functioning zones then.

Or I guess 5 including maw, but 5 is still pretty short of countless. I got 10 fingers to use for counting so we gonna need at least the number after that.

I want to visit the death realm dedicated to pie makers. I would give up my murderhobo ways to live there forever.

I’d imagine it’s because, as far as we know, only that many can be active to divert anima out from Oribos - OR

They’re the realms most in tune with Azeroth - and as Azeroth is….more or less the last world - they’re no doubt the strongest realms now. Those streams probably go other places or the doors get swapped out.

It’s a game, sir. This isn’t a novel that can go into in depth detail on infinite realms.

It’s none of this. At all. We only go to the four that have the Eternal Ones who keep the machine of death going. It’s a gameplay design.

O-apologies if I caused frustration.
I know it was made like that for a reason - especially gameplay wise. Infinity isn’t something

I’m just looking to make more mystery for myself I suppose. Open up avenues for fan art and stuffs. :3

The thing is, there’s canonically a realm for Gnomes and Goblins and mechanically inclined mortal souls full of nothing but inventors and builders.

Instead we got Korthia, city that’s not really a city.

I mean, headcanon is fine. But it’s best not to confuse people with it, because next thing you know, we’ve got people arguing it as fact. And it’s GD, that never goes well.

Tis a good point! Also what you said just kinda finally sank in and how I’m kinda just in awe that hat those four tenants, duty, war, renewal and absolution are the pillars of WoW’s afterlife.
That’s one helluva universe.

Pelagos always speaks in a way that sounds scripted, he’s definitely conjuring up a fifth realm in his head.

Dudes so busy thinking up a whole new reality he forgets the world is ending

Great idea.
Except, Shadowlands is ending soon, so it doesn’t matter anymore- and we’re probably not going back to the Shadowlands in future expansions.

“ENTER ME!” (she says in parenthesis)
Imma bring ‘em back in if I can Hehe
Hopefully in a way people like. :3

Danuser said in an interview that the Shadowlands has multiple Torment Afterlives. The Grimoire of the Shadowlands furthermore suggests that they are escapable.

Revendreth being about Absolution makes it more vital than the Torment Afterlives.

The point of the Maw is that it’s inescapable so it doesn’t matter if the Torments are less than the escapable Torment Afterlives as the Irredeemable can’t escape anyways.

The escapable Realms of Torment probably vary in brutality and suffering but the purpose is to make sure than any who wind up in them are too scarred by the experience to continue their Evildoing by the time they get out(by whatever means is available to them).

If we ever get a new Shadowlands Expansion these Realms of Torment might be a good setting. The plot will be escorting Sylvanas to the next stage of her Penance(as Tyrande stated that rescuing Souls sent to the Maw is the start of Sylvanas’s Penance.

I think SL will play “some” part in future content to some extent, given that we still have Denathrius lurking about and unhindered for 3 years by time DF starts… assuming DF takes the standard year to two years that means Denathrius has 4-5 years to potentially become a threat from that loose end plot.

That or it’ll end up like the giant sword in Silithus and a dozen other story beats they just shove into nowhere.

Again….once I get my lil hands on this it’s all over for these hanging story threads….
Also the red light in the sky.
Don’t forget that.

I wanna be like the chalk eating toddler who smears paint on a wall with her fingers and accidentally recreates, and extends starry night.

Experienced? No. Formal? No. But do I have the spirit? YES!!!

I’d love to see wargames between draka and mograine. The primus seems chill in the sense he may actually pull every string, even the ones that “betray him”, not so much that I believe entirely he was faking his imprisonment by the jailer, but purposely allowing the wrong people to have control over the houses, fits in line with his motto.

Letting fire build like that could open up for future conflict or even a breaking off point. How that would conceptualize as another realm I haven’t the feintest idea, but evidently the valarjar found a way to connect to the maw, runeweavers were originally intended in early early vanilla brainstorming?

Rebuilding Korthia, or maybe reality experiences the influence of korthias existence in reverse?
