No joke, the season pass system may be just one of the worst corporate board room ideas to ever touch gaming.
Imagine if they released a WoW Patch, but to get any gear, transmog, pets, or etc you had to first pay $60 every patch.

It was fine when only a few games had it but when every freaking developer hops on it, it just gets annoying
When I first saw the game Dauntless it looked pretty cool, but the moment I got to town and was directed to their season pass shop, I just noped.

I play Dead by Daylight and it has pretty much the same thing and I am not a fan, but then again I’m not a fan of quite a few of their decisions. Like locking iconic characters behind real money currency. Cmon I just wanna play as Pyramid Head
