Yes, I know. You guys JUST gave us more character slots. But after doing MoP Remix, I’ve completely maxed out my account but there are still a lot of characters I want to create. I know. You JUST added more character slots. Please give us more!

That’s me. I have so many “maybe I’ll play this one?” But I need to consolidate my portfolio.
the most i can see players do is 15-20 and these are the gold wq farmers at most
but 5 might be for raids and dungeons
I have couple characters but mainly play one at the moment and you guys have your slots maxed out. I don’t know how you guys do it or even have time for it.
i have 15ish toon just for the dragon riding race WQ for a time i loved it got board fast after 3-5 weeks of doing it

People use different characters for different reasons. RP, gathering, lowbies to play with friends just in case, sentimental reasons because they’ve been around for so long, etc.
Now, I’ve only got 30ish, but I couldn’t delete them.

I just hit 20 characters due to remix and making 4 new ones but wow I can’t imagine having 65 that’s crazy, not hating but that’s just crazy and would be way too much for me personally.

Lol, having 4 more because of that is more than enough for me, I’ve ended up doubling back and only focusing one of them now so I find it unlikely I’ll make more than just the 4.

I’m experiencing the exact same problem! Deciding on which characters to delete to make a new Remix alt is getting rough. I’m attached to them all in on way or another.

I’m not even an altoholic but I’m a hoarder. I start toons and then log out for milk and just never log back.

WoW has always been a game where having at least a couple alts has been convenient or fun if not also beneficial (which it can be depending on what you care about), but man, it’s really become a bit of a mess when people have 65 characters and want more.
I know a big part of it is just the game being around for 20 years now. Things accumulate. But idk, it feels weird. I think the last few expansions have leaned HEAVILY on people playing multiple alts to maintain interest, partially because gearing and therefore Raid Prog for those interested is ridiculously fast now.
That and the leveling speed was dramatically increased so people who already liked that part of the game enough to keep replaying it have been spitting out characters at like 2-3x the pace they used to.
