I know most of the WoW community is white and you’re probably fine with how things are. But some of us would like some representation. More black NPCs. Maybe add some African lore. And make the black characters look black. Right now they look like tan white people with their features.

they have just added more racial representation
They have changed some older NPCs to people of colour and id bet there is more to come in regards to new npcs not yet in the game

I don’t like much human representation in WoW in general. Humans ruin the whole the experience for me.
Should have been Orcs vs Elves not Orcs vs Humans. People who play humans…

Some of us don’t care, regardless of what color we are. Some of us are beyond skin color and race being some kind of requirement for our brains to just chill out and have some recreational time.
Besides, you want “fair?” Every race needs representation, then. Every single one, in equal numbers. All five major ones, and then the hundreds or thousands of derivatives.
And you’d better prepare yourself, because if they put actual racial representation in this game, in quantities and ratios that mimic Earth, then the majority of all NPCs and such will become Han Chinese. “Black” will be only two out of every ten NPCs. You still want realism?
No. Nothing “real” from this Earth. Nothing else is, so we won’t start with Africa. Africans get the same level of appropriation all of the other Earthly races have received in this game. You can figure this out from there.
They do. And surprise, “black” doesn’t look one way. Whatever way you think that is. “Black” ranges from deep ebony black on one end to albinism on the other. Have you ever known a black person with white skin? I have. More than one, actually. One was a friend with albinism, the other was an acquaintance who suffered from Vitiligo and had only a small percentage of their skin pigmentation left.
So, you tell me, which “black” are we going with?
As some black people do. As some white people do.
As some people do.
Surprise, there is no “white people want this,” or “black people want this,” or “(XYZ race) of people are this or behave like this or look like this.”
That extends to American / Chinese / Russian / Men / Women / Trans / “White” / “Black” / “Latino” / Democrats / Republicans / Rich People / Poor People / Gay / Straight / Old / Young … ad infinitum.
There is no social group that “all acts the same,” or “all wants the same thing.” That’s why labels are friggin’ stupid, in the extreme, and should have went out of style in the 20th century. We really should be smarter and more mature than that. End of discussion.
There is only you and your thoughts in your head. Try not to stress out so much over minutiae in a video game.

Nigerian here, the only complaint I have so far with blizzard is the human haircuts for “african” type of hair. Whoever created that fresh cut did my mans hairline dirty for Shadowlands lol.
Other than that, not really looking for any type of representation. Just enjoying the game and praying Elemental Shaman is top tier.
