We need make fury warrior great again!

We get it. Fury Warrior needed some love. When I look at how other melee specs are treated, as a Warrior player, all I can feel is discrimination and a lack of fairness toward our class.

First of all, as Warriors, we don’t bring much utility to a group. We don’t have multiple AOE control abilities, we don’t have lust, and we definitely don’t have brez. So what do we have? A clunky Storm Bolt and Shockwave, that’s it? If we’re lacking in utility, then at the very least, we should be contributing high DPS. But the truth is, we don’t even have that right now. The 5-target cap on cleave limits everything. Even when we’re fighting exactly five targets, we often still lose out to other melee specs. Some might argue that Fury Warriors have strong single-target DPS in Mythic+, but the truth is—it’s not dominantly ahead. Even in single-target scenarios, we’re not crushing the competition by any meaningful margin.

Also, it’s clear that the developers haven’t taken Warrior players’ feelings and feedback. Just look at the DPS rankings on MythicStats, Fury Warrior is one of the bottom three DPS specs overall. And what’s even more ridiculous? In actual combat, we often perform worse than Shadow Priests.

Lastly, let me share a humorous little story.
Picture this: the first big pull in Cinderbrew Meadery, lust is up, packs are grouped, and the Fury Warrior—full of hope—starts cleaving… only to be betrayed by the infamous 5-target cap. Instead of doing real AoE, they’re lightly tickling the mobs like they’re giving them a massage. The tank eventually goes down under pressure, and guess who gets blamed? Yep, the Warrior.

But of course, that’s all just a fantasy. In reality, we’re not even invited to the group in the first place. We’re just sitting in Dornogal, staring at the fountain, reflecting on class imbalance… and wondering what it feels like to be wanted.

For a long time I’ve been saying that Blizzard doesn’t care about Warriors at all. Every season they find a different way to ruin the class. If we’re top damage, we’re quickly nerfed several times in a row. This season they left Fury’s AOE damage nerfed because of the target cap. Arms is so annoying and unpleasant to play that every time I try, I’m holding myself back from pressing ALT+F4. Not to mention the utility department, which doesn’t exist at all. While other classes have a series of utilities, we don’t even have a lust that would fit well with the class. This problem has been going on for YEARS. They’re absolutely aware of it and don’t do anything on purpose.

Biggest problem for arms is there is no real rage generation.

Wot?
We’re not a paladin that doesn’t have to balance resources. We also have to be in the mob’s bum to generate that rage most of the time. (Still annoyed with the weird hit boxes on a lot of mobs).
We have talents that help with rage as well. Battle lord, Finishing blows, and the execute talents. The big issue right now with Arms and Fury lose so much from any sort of down time. On top of lacking utility.
Fury more so than Arms needs more dps abilities that hit more than 5. In other words, they need to buff/uncap ravager/Blade storm, Roar, Odyn’s Fury, etc. They all got hammered into the dirt and never rebalanced.

Mate, not one paladin thinks about resources at all, especially ret paladins. And like you said, you have to be on top to generate rage while paladins mostly do not.

And yes, we have talents to help with rage as arms but my god, they aren’t consistent. Sometimes they go off and sometimes you go a full 30 seconds before battlord even procs, if you ever take the talent in the first place.

Unlike Fury warriors, which having raging blow generate rage, with bloodthirst and ordy’s fury, arms truly doesn’t have many abilities that generate rage unless you get hit.

i can vouch for that

i would kill to have my resource matter for a actual skill ceiling.

 fury its the worst class , very hard to play and to have fun not to break a keyboard :):)
