this is garbage
You could go in with 15 players instead of 20.
Still garbage
The point of making it 20… or having more is so people with lots of friends and guilds to play something together…
you know people that have social friends etc.
Okay how about 20 people but no WBs, no consumes and you unequip some gear?
so remove the things I collect throughout the week to produce the best results?
Have you tried retail?
That would take up dev time so theres no way. But It sounds like a great idea tbh. On the same lock out just give H more drops and everyone would be happy.
Sure, it will make it harder so why not?
I am in favor of heroic difficulty where you get more loot, but not different higher ilvl loot.
This is classic country bud, you want hard raids you best keep walking
It’s a level 50 raid in vanilla, go play wrath if you want heroic raids people still can’t complete even with massive buffs.
Just like how you would be trying to clear the pre-nerf content in your guild and wiping over and over again knowing that you aren’t even wiping the same way like the top players were.
There is surely a middle ground between what you’re terrified of (a challenging raid) and what we currently have, which is 30 second kills in week 2 after it’s been nerfed repeatedly.
The bosses are dying before they do their mechanics, how is this fun? Just add a chest to pick up the gear and skip out the middleman.
Yeah lower your player count.
Slightly harder and more gear to go around
No we dont, you can play heroic dungeon in wotlk/cata classic and retail. Let us enjoy our casual experience and you can go be tryhard elsewhere
I’m in favor of a hard mode where nothing changes except the difficulty. Same gear, same number of drops, no title/achievement/tabard. I’ve proposed this, but then the goal posts move from “I just want hard content for fun” to “I deserve more/better stuff for doing hard content”.
The people asking for harder content will never be satisfied unless they have something to show off to people who are unable to do it. Thats the whole reason they’re mad in the first place, they are upset that casuals get the same gear they do. They don’t have someone to flex their video game pixels at
Personally I like how in classic era/vanilla everyone has a good chance at getting the best gear in the game running the same instance, regardless of whether you are amazing, average or bad.
I love Wrath but I am not blind to how expectations in the PvE playerbase shift the moment you add better rewards for increased difficulty, as in you either clear heroic or it’s a “waste of time”.
A lot of people do. Myself being one of them. One of the reasons I’m playing SoD is because its on the Classic servers so it shouldn’t be a total sweatfest to clear content. If I wanted that I’d go back to mythic raiding in retail.
So assuming your guild is 40, ready for 40 mans. Do 13 13 and 14 man ST. You get your “hard mode” and your guild is rolling in loot and will be ready for lvl 60 raids.
As I’ve been saying for years, the majority of Classic players do not want difficult raid content. Aggrend just tweeted and it seems like the Classic team has finally realized this:

I understand if that may disappoint some folks but after several years of watching data around classic player behavior, we don’t believe difficult raid content is what players actually want on this side of the WoW spectrum. Individuals and some groups may want it, but writ large most people seem to just want to chill and blast stuff with their friends and that’s the goal we’d like to aim for for the average guild.
