I was camping the road leading to SM and in front of UC today.
I embarassed a rogue who was 6 levels higher than me who also had the help of a warlock.
I more or less single-handedly blockaded SM from the undercity side.
Everybody died once trying to get past me except a warlock that I killed like 3 times ebfore I got distracted by a druid and lost him on the repop.
Prediction…some like them will be making comments in tbc portion too.
TBC running the same the 3rd time. If you found the intro levels there a slog 2 times already, it may be a slog run 3 lol.

Loll Vanilla leveling is the best part of it. N best leveling exp in history of the game. Go play retail n crap like that if you want boring ars press a random key between 1-5 n kill things for 6 hours to max level type if game.

50 gold at 40… the same time you are saving for mount & riding. Also happens to be when people start respecing to fix or finish their build… huge gold sinc for them to add it in there. Only people that really benefited are mage and gold farmers. It did nothing to fix anything.
The whole point of the vanilla experience is the lvling no? You are correct that it gets boring after doing it over and over, but then again just dont play this version pf the game.
Go play retail where you can lvl to max level in 1 day. This isn’t for you.

You can make that in a level and a half at 40. Choices have always been made for riding versus other things (more spells, etc.) at 40. If you choose Enchanting, you won’t have riding until 42 it seems like.
Would it have been better had they made it level 50? Or level 30? Either way there would be complaints.

I enjoy the pace of of leveling as it is. There is a slow burn progression of your character getting stronger that I really enjoy over the zoomer rush to 60.
