why are you ignoring the fact that they reduced respec cost by 98%, making dual spec moot? itâs basically free to change specs, you just have to visit a trainer.
Itâs such an inconvenience to constantly go to main cities and pay gold just so you can play the game how you want to play.
Thanks for agreeing with us. We appreciate it.
Iâm glad youâre happy realizing that what you want is already in the game
WoW Classic is filled with inconveniences. My biggest complaint (so far) in SoD is that the BFD graveyard is right outside the instance. Thatâs a pretty big divergence from âThE sPirIt of cLaSsiC.â but Iâm not going to make posts complaining about it.
Itâs literally the inconveniences and added RP elements like 5 minute buffs, reagent requirements, meeting stones (you know, where you go to meet, because why not right?), etc. that make Classic what it is.
/RaisingHandShakingFist: Indeed, catering to convenience and people like me who work 6 jobs and have 11teen kids as a single mom and dad that just want to queue raids in the RDF Wrath of the Lobby King is what leads to retail.
Cool. Give us dual spec. This isnât vanilla.
Why do you even need Dual Spec at this bracket? Most specs donât even get substantively good abilities into down the trees, and the percentage-based passives are so insubstantial (IE, reduce the mana cost of restoration spells by 5% when they only cost 100 mana to cast).
Sure it is.
Calling people bad players if they have a different opinion from you, and then saying:
Might be an attempt to make it seem like youâre not the one doing the things youâre saying other people are, but it doesnât seem like a very good one.
Do you know what a strawman argument it? You must not, given how frequently you make them, or perhaps you simply enjoy arguing in bad faith? Either way, no one said anything about âno changes,â thinking a single change like dual spec is bad for the game (it is, btw, spec attonomy issues, game design issues), doesnât mean a person thinks all changes are bad.
Nice job assuming Iâm a retail player bud. Havenât touched that since MoP. Just because you want to gate keep a seasonal game to live out your vanilla fantasies because the classic era servers are dead now and you dislike fun qol changes/have all the time in the world doesnât mean I do.
we donât need dual spec, the spec identity is crucial
what we need is to remove demon form outside of dungeons and tanking, what we have now feels like CHEAP MOBILE FREE game with demon lords everywhere
Have to agree with the op , in light of all the new rune abilities that can be swapped on the fly, the ability to swap talents points as well seems reasonable.
Please add dual spec
SoD is vanilla with new runes and a new raid. Thats it. The devs were clear that it is still vanilla.
Thereâs no dual spec in retail.
There would still be a cost if you wanted to move talents around in one of your 2 specs
Love dual spec cause it letâs me have a pve and pvp talent tree loadout.
cool disingenuous argument
what retail has is the logical conclusion of dual spec.
Youâre calling it retail but it doesnât exist in retail
The only people against dual spec arenât classic andys but instead soft weakling pve only heroes that donât understand the concept of a pvp and pve tree.
Dual spec only existed in TBC , wotlk and cata.
It never existed outside that time frame. Meaning it is a classic feature.
whatever you say, vulpera warlock
Itâs very needed and wanted but the small classic-only vocal minority basically want SoD to be another classic wow relaunch with 0 changes outside of new abilities and raids
Like another poster claimed in this thread that itâs âmin maxâ just because you want to change your spec around? Weird lol. Sorry I want to try all of the runes and play different roles?
The season should be a push to try all the new runes, dual spec is a push in the right direction
They would also be great gold sinks
