it’s getting real old that only Engineers get to have an AH in the new expansion capitals while everyone else has to go back to Org/SW for the 5th expansion in a row just to toss some items on the AH.
this is why the new cities are never as popular as Org/SW and it’s ridiculous that Blizzard can’t see that

I’m glad I have the Brutosaur mount. The only times I’ll ever go to Stormwind and Orgrimmar is for portals and that’s it.
I would also like an AH in Oribos, but the very reason that there isn’t one is so that “main hubs” remain populated for immersion reasons.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expecting people to go back to Org / SW. I have an auctioneer on my main, but none of my other characters are engineers, so I often have to go back. It doesn’t bother me though. Not everything has to be 100% fair all the time.
Engineers kinda need something for being the most expensive trade to level and also the lowest gold earning profession.

At this point I think its an intentional decision they make so as to spread the population out.
Seems the servers fall over whenever you have a decent chunk of players in the same area (icc rares & launch are some recent examples).
If there is an AH in Oribos, everyone would just be there at all times, when not out in the world.
Its a city full of ghosts and spirits…“hey guys we might be dead but we can we get an AH up in here?”, just doesn’t make sense to me, or for Engineers to have one either.

I mean, honestly, they should add it just because I don’t think my character really wants to travel between realities every time he wants to buy or sell something.
This is true too. Engineering does nothing for no one other than the engineer, other than make a mount occasionally. There’s no real gold in the profession.

And this is why you don’t scorn utilitarian tools like the brutosaur. Unfortunately there are several areas within the city that make you get dismounted and thus it is annoying. Going to have to find a good place next to a mailbox when I need mats from my longboi.
That, and to avoid devaluing engineering (and now the brutosaur). Everyone else is one portal away from an AH, which isn’t that bad and which they should already be used to.
