I’ll be honest, when I had first saw the lil notification pop up on my phone for Shadowlands while I was at work, I was excited to hear about a new class being implemented into the game. When I got home it was a disappointment to find out that this will be the second expansion they did not implement a new race or a new class (WoD being the only other one). I think there were some missed opportunities for 1, to introduce necromancer to the game (another cloth DPS that we haven’t seen in a long time) or Tinkerer (which could be our third mail armor class). With a third mail armor class it can balance out demand in the economy a little when it comes to armor types. Mail as you know is the only armor type that has only 2 classes.
There should be a new class added to the game! Also, don’t add more keybinds we already have too many!
Classic: 8 new races, 8 new classes
TBC: 2 new races
WotLK: 1 new class
Cata: 2 new races, class shuffle begins
MoP: 1 new race, 1 new class
WoD: Mak’Har Orc hinted at, no gains
Legion: 1 new class, exclusive.
BfA: 10 new races (just try to contest me)
Shadowlands: 4 new races, ? classes
TNE: TBA
We need a Postmaster class. A mail user who defeats enemies with crazy shipping prices, paper weapons and sending them useless things until they surrender.
I mean, to be fair, they said the reason we aren’t getting a new class is cause of all the resources being put into new character customization, I think it’s a fair trade.
Not confirmed, going with “highly likely” to wrap up their slots. If it gets retracted, I’m all for it. 12 to 12 is easier to manage than 19 to 12. (Race/Class)
Plate doesn’t make sense on shamans to me. It just seems very clunky and they need to be more agile than a plate wearer. Blizz just need to do a better job designing armor for them. A ranged mail wearer would be nice (eventually).
Tinkers could be so fun, easily could be tank, ranged, healer, or ranged, ranger, healer, or even melee, ranged , healer (always count a ranged and a healer because that’s what we need as novelty now)
