Why don’t we have a set like THAT for DKs? That was one of the coolest things they did in Shadowlands. I like the current season (twws2) set, but we need a set like THAT—without changing the art style.

We have something similar, but the shoulder pieces are different — the ones in the picture have more and bigger spikes.
The chest piece is also different from the one we currently have, and the arms are different from the Shadowlands version as well.
The lower part is completely different — we don’t have anything like that.
This particular set in the picture works so well because of how it was designed as a whole. The brown straps combined with the spikes give it a ‘razor’ kind of vibe. What we got in-game, both in SL and now, are just ‘similar’ versions of it
On this note: I loved the Shadowlands art style low-key. It’s a bit different from the older style but feels like it has Warcraft DNA, which is a lot of fun.
I’m asking for something identical, not just similar. And there isn’t a lower piece (leggings) even remotely like the one in that picture.
We don’t usually get armor that’s identical to NPCs, so all we have is close as we can come. The leggings aren’t leggings. That’s the actual NPC model and not something put onto it.
It took them forever to give us a Dark Ranger outfit and it’s still kinda crappy comparatively, because our armor is actual armor and for NPCs it’s part of their model.
Literally didn’t play shadowlands lmao. You missed on some elite sets for dk that were just like that lmao.
The levitating part is obviously impossible and so is the dress because obviously they can’t change their engine or add any new models apart from adding onto 20 years old models so for every players it’s impossible unless they changed your hit box/rigging of your character.
For EXACTLY this there is a toy called chains of domination or something domination that will have a chance to transform you for a long time into this or another maw entity.
I’m not talking about floating or not having legs/feet lol.
I mean having a skirt like that one, along with the upper armor pieces.
I played Shadowlands, but I don’t have anything that matches this.

I want Gul’ dans EXACT set, personally. The one we have has nice shoulders and all, but not nearly as cool.
I’m still curious why death knights don’t have a shadowmoon clan style outfit considering Ner’zhul.

No we don’t. Looks ridiculous, it’s not even dark. Dafuq is all that shiny silver armor for? Give me rotting flesh, decaying organs and severed limbs. Something that fits the Death Knight theme instead of whatever this fashion show wannabe thing is.
I’m not against having that kind of set concept either, but if it’s in Shadowlands, it could very well be for DKs too — everyone have their own tastes…

And that skirt and upper armor piece is the model itself. Not an outfit.

Because DKs have nothing to do with the Shadowmoon.
To be fair, they were the first Necromancers to raise Undead, including DKs of the first generation like Teron Gorefiend, it would perhaps be more concise to say they had nothing to do with Azeroth’s particular brand of DKs.
This too, I was sort of disappointed with certain parts of the Warden armor, some guantlets with owl talons would’ve really brought the whole thing together, along with maybe Maeiv’s bladed version of the shoulders.

I do like that for my female dk characters, except the helmet.
Looks like a battle dress.
The dude in the picture has no legs. Transmog to NO leggings, it’ll be the same. Except you have legs.
