The Horde is more UWU than the Alliance is now. Everyone is always asking for high elves anyway, so why not just give them real tiny keebler elves that live in peace and harmony and hold hands and whatnot - basically immortal children with pointy ears!
Just imagine you go into Stormwind and see a little elf girl holding a big staff with an oversized wizard’s hat giving you that OwO stare. You know you want it.
