You need to get it out of your head that you’re entitled to other people’s (for lack of a better word) labor.
Get it out of your head that people shouldn’t be allowed to form groups with selection criteria or caveats.
And just spamming DPS LFG BRD in the channel is clearly the wrong way to go about finding a group. I’ve never spent an hour LFG and I’m an DPS Rogue.
You catch way more honey if you look at what groups are looking for more and joining one of those instead of hyperfixating on one instance.

My faction/server is always running dungeons all day/night but dear god is the Warlock spam getting obnoxious.
I don’t even pug anymore because reading LFG chat hurts my eyes. LFG tool would be great, those that have a problem with LFG shouldn’t be playing SoD in the first place.
Anyone else in favor of giving Warlock bots their own global channel?
How am I entitled to other peoples labor? Im putting the same amount of effort into clearing the dungeon as they are, because I would much rather spend 10 seconds clicking a few buttons in a GUI instead of spamming the same chat message in a flooded channel for an hour.

All anti-RDF arguments are just, dead world and dead social interaction but RDF is not what killed either of those. RDF is nothing but a positive for a seasonal mode. As I mentioned above, being able to que from anywhere in the world will help liven it up more instead of being restricted to the zone the instance is so you dont hinder the group while they have to wait 40 minutes for you to get to the dungeon. Then people complain about social interaction yet you see them talk the least, can sit in the middle of stormwind and orgrimmar and no one chats at all, dungeon chat is pretty much, hello, mind if i need this, want to run again, and if you wipe , oopsies :P. Same as what would happen with RDF in later expansions when it was added.
It’s so immersive and a great social environment to spam a trade chat while you sit still outside of a dungeon listening to a twitch stream.

You don’t have to justify to most of us lol. The vast majority of us are playing SoD because we want Vanilla with better gameplay.
There is enough unavoidable time-waste as it is and I’ve always wondered why Turtle WoW is able to offer the perfect solution (group forming tool only) but Blizzard will not, even in “Modern-Vanilla”
I always find it very strange when people have the argument for SoD, “This doesn’t belong in Vanilla!”
…erm, neither does dual-spec and incursions yet here we are.

Make it work like this;
Finds you a group but you have the option to accept or decline the group. (This will help you not have a group of 3 dps warriors if you’re tank warrior)
It does not teleport you to the instance or meeting stone.
It only works for 5-10 man content, not raids.
I’d be ok with this as instead of spending time posting in LFG I can just relax. I main a healer though so I get groups instantly most of the time.

Why shouldnt we be able to teleport to the dungeon?
So warlocks can still make money selling you summons.
So you have to find flightpaths still and go around the world.
Mostly because instantly putting you in and out of the dungeon will make more people fight against it.
Devs, give us RDF please. Activate the summoning stones while you are at it.
Wed still need flightpaths for farming/quests/events/world bosses/raids.
Adding a teleport to the dungeon would not mean you dont need flightpaths.
How did you come to that conclusion? You abandoned all logic and rational thought.
Wrong, you won’t get it put into the game with an attitude like that.
This is the biggest thing the game needs. The vocal minority that enjoys pouring over looking for group summons spam are just that, a vocal minority. If they don’t want to use a tool then they don’t have to.
This is a basic thing in gaming these days. It’s not a retail thing. It’s not a this thing or that thing. It’s a basic functionality.
Keep era as the museum, but seasons need a dungeon finder.

Put LFR in SoD so nobody has to talk to another human being before hitting a loot pinata
People still talk in dungeons when you have LFD, and also people do not talk at all when there is no LFD.
Funny how that works.
By acting like you cannot make concessions such as having to travel yourself to the instance the majority of classic and classic era players will vote against it every time.

(1) still more immersive than sitting in a city listening to a twitch stream
(2) the friction of finding a group and travelling to the instance incentivizes not acting like a total degenerate when you get a group, since you’re more invested.

I disagree, there have been multiple times people will join my group and leave after realizing we can’t summon them.
