Remember years ago when wow implemented new features to the game that made it easier for EVERYBODY to enjoy the game?

LFG
LFD
LFR
Cross realm instances and servers.

This was done to give everybody a chance to experience all the content instead of being told by some Chad that “you don’t deserve to play, you’re not a part of our clique”.
Those were the people who decided who was going to participate and who wasn’t.

Questions and statements I will never miss in Warcraft:
“Whats your ilevel?” (According to the game my ilevel is good enough for this raid but it’s not good enough for you?)
“Your PVP gear is WELFARE gear, you got it for free” (I worked my a** off to get that gear)

Now it appears people DON’T want LFG/ LFD in WOTLK classic? The only people who wouldn’t want that feature are the CHADS who play the game 12-18 hours a day. It’s the need to feel elite so they can look down their noses at the casuals who have jobs, families and lives.

So now we must save the Chads, they have become endangered, the flock has grown thin. They must be given renewed purpose in life, to feel significant.

But Chads spend too much time playing the game, they usually don’t have jobs and therefore…no money to pay for services. Not everybody can be Payo or (Sigh :face_vomiting:) Asmongold who turned their love for this game into a source of income.

If you’re really going to change anything let that energy be directed at balancing the factions…for once…Since both Classic Vanilla and TBC let the horde (Once again) run wild and unchecked.

you have divided the playerbase into two groups in your post:

  1. everyone
  2. a group of players.

and your post is about differentiating the two. When one is a subset of the other.

This sounds like an honest to god case of “you need to go back to retail”.

Seriously if you are so obsessed with these systems being in classic, I have no idea why you seriously don’t just play retail

I seriously don’t understand why people like OP hate retail so much, but then they come to classic and cry about how the games unplayable because it doesn’t have all the retail features.

I think people like OP are boomers who brainwashed themselves to think CLASSIC = GOOD, RETAIL = BAD.
You only want to play classic because you think the items are cool, and there is honor or valor to be stolen by playing classic, you want those items you thought were cool as a kid, but the truth is, you aren’t a classic fan, you’re an old man that needs quality of life in order to play the game, most people playing classic simply don’t care, we manage just fine without them, if you seriously NEED all that systems to play the game for you, then guess what, classic isn’t the game for you, accept the game you really sohuld be playing is retail, and go play it instead.

While I don’t care whether lfd is or isn’t implemented, I think you telling him that he doesn’t like classic because he wants lfd is pretty silly when classic is not in the slightest like how original vanilla was. 95% of lfg chat advertisements in classic are gdkp or mage boosts. At this point it’s as much if not more pay to win than retail is.

Classic isnt hard, and your head canon of it being hard because it has no qol improvements makes you look asinine at best, bud.

Have fun filling your groups with whatever is meta, and doing GDKP runs. The Classic community is probably just as bad or worse than retail, but hey, keep gatekeeping your crappy community, and keep thinking your better than retail players because you play a 15 year old game that no one will care about in the next few months.

No where in my post did I mention classic being hard, that’s you projecting.
I’ve never had a problem getting into a group or filling a group, thinking it’s impossible to find a group because some people do gdkp is YOUR head canon.

All these “problems” are literally solved by just PLAYING THE DAMN GAME.

Not in a guild? Not my problem.
Can’t be bothered putting in the bare minimum to gear up? Not my problem.

You aren’t entitled to anything in this life, if you can’t do the bare minimum to prove you are a worthless noob demanding a carry, don’t complain when people treat you like a worthless entitled noob who thinks they deserve a carry.

Again, I gear my characters, I’ll farm some gold and buy crafted gear, I’ll do as many heroics as I can get into to for badges, I’ll cap towers and I’ll do bgs to fill in the gaps, I’ll earn my spot in the groups, I’m not entitled like you, and I’ve never had a problem.

Cool, not my problem, I’m a player, I’m not a developer, and gdkps were huge back in wotlk, maybe your brain can’t remember that far back, but it’s the classic experience.

Also dungeon finder didn’t come out till patch 3.3.0, which is ICC patch, so a true classic wotlk experience would be getting dungeon finder when ICC releases, deal with it.

ps you also missed the point entirely, if you’re threatening to quit over no lfg, this game isn’t for you, you were never a fan, real players don’t care, we came back for classic, not some random qol system, it’s irrelevant, it’s a non-issue, even ion said “if you need lfg you should go to retail”.

Also I wasn’t trying to be rude, I honest to god think people like OP should just play retail and leave classic alone, retail is a good game, it gets a bad wrap from narrow minded classic players, and it has all the systems and qol people like OP wants so badly, but for some reason they all refuse to play it?

Makes no sense, if all you care about is casually logging in and doing some random dungeons, don’t care about joining a guild, don’t want to have to talk to other people, and want a game with lots of qol features, retail is 100% the game for you.

You’re just talking nonsense really, classic is nothing like it was back in the day, the fact you can buy cheap gold easily with no concern of a ban and buy whatever gear you want anyway, whilst barely needing to communicate at all outside of saying, I have 100k gold, pretty much nullifies your entire “Ree social community go back to retail”. This game is not how the game was back in the day, get off your high horse, there is no social interaction in game outside of guild raids anymore.

Now you have retail LFG and pay for 70 boosts and other retail type changes to WOTLK. Its no longer classic its retail in a Wrath wrapper, thank you for making Wrath retail, I would rather they left it alone instead of catering to whiners.

I used DF/LFR, but at the end of the day the gear quality was lower than if you ran in a premade group.

If anything, I’d say that LFR made it easier to get used to raiding without having to know anyone and set you up to do raids in a more “hardcore” fashion.

This game was never going to be the same, we’re 20 years older, create a time machine or deal with it, it’s really not that bad, I’m having fun, sad you can’t do the same and need to invent as many boogey man as possible to push your pathetic narratives.

You’re literally saying lfd shouldn’t be in because it wasn’t in on launch hahaha. Neither was a LVL 70 character boost or 95% of advertisements for GDKPs or mage boosts. So your argument would only work if they took out the level boost.
