We might as well postpone 9.1 to 2022

I think saying someone is running damage control at the first hint of criticism is a bit much. I don’t think that’s particularly unfair to you or the person you originally responded to. :man_shrugging:

That’s like… your opinion man!

I firmly believe that person is a paid damage controller. It is a well known issue in these forums. :call_me_hand:

Then, when the meetings with bosses happen, no one knows why they are losing subs.

Is there anything wrong with that? It is my opinion, and I figured explaining it would be worthwhile at least.

Not. It is just that you sounded like you didn’t know that it was your opinion and not a guaranteed fact. All good now.

Right then. Good luck.

Tbh, they had until end of December to launch SL, they should have delayed it longer than they did, would it have made a difference, maybe, maybe not, but it might have allowed for a bit more refinement.

We probably should just go to 10.0… I’m ready to shell out more money to leave the Shadowlands.

I just play the game and try to ignore any news they put out. Last time I listened in, Ion was telling us how they hear us on class identity, then proceeds to give us more borrowed power than ever before.

Won’t believe anything till I see it.

Frankly, there’s nothing exciting or worth returning for in 9.1 given all the details.

Spoiler Details - Click here if you don't mind or care.
  • Korthia is a mixture of Oribos and the Maw.
  • Much of the story is dealing with the overdue explanation of Sylvanas’s pact with Helya.
  • Korthia’s content has no real intriguing twist or explanation of anything thus far.
  • Tyrande’s Night Warrior story fails to achieve anything. While she retains the power (apparently). she behaves as if she lost it or used it in some montumentous way.
  • The New Dungeon engages with the Brokers, but fails to answer anything or has any fit into the story.
  • The New Raid will be solid and seems fun.

Beyond the listed boons, which of course is not in depth but a nutshell synopsis… 9.1 fails to offer anything of substance that appears fun or engaging for everyone.

Wouldn’t help much, the problems with it are in fundament design…not something that could be “Fixed” given more time… the damage is done, the content to release as is…

sends you to the Winter Queen

To derail a moment

Am I the only one who is so damn sick of seeing this word? Lmao why does everyone feel the need to say hyperbolic at every opportunity, y’all watching too much DBZ or sumth’n

All I think is it better come with more content, and that we’ll be lucky to get it by August.

Remember all the people a couple months ago saying “nahhh no way the leaks were real it’s definitely coming before August” - they’re all gonna have to eat their words lel

Would you prefer the hype ebola mind chamber sir?

Postpone 9.1 much longer and we might not get a 9.3.
Then we can finally answer the question: What happens if Blizzard releases a second WoD?
