While it’s far from confirmed yet, there’s hints that we might be able to do follower dungeons with our warband members. This is something I’ve been hoping for ever since Warlords when bodyguards, garrisons, followers, and mission tables made me want to be able to interact with alts more.

I would like to be able to do follower dungeons with my alts and then they could get gear upgrades in those dungeons. I could choose which alts get what upgrades if i had a 5 man with just my toons.

I wonder…sounds cool, but I don’t have a single healer I’ve ever used. How would this work? Just boost a new toon to follow me around that’s a random healer I choose? I’m still not clear how warbands are going to work, let alone in a dungeon. Like FF only with the look of my own alts?
The dungeon thing could be cool. I’m just in a wait and see mode for all of it.
I’m guessing it would work the same as it does now, an AI NPC would be generated to fill in any roles not covered.

The idea kind of gives me the heebies to be honest with you. But I don’t see myself doing many follower dungeons anyhow so, hey, go for it. I’d kind of like the option to opt out and just use generic NPCs if I ever do them though.

I once exited game on one character, immediately logged on on another character in the same spot in Tol Barad and the first character was standing in front in me.
Felt like reality had diverged. Freaky af.

Would be pretty cool, although all of my characters are DPS, so I’d probably have to either swap one to a tanking spec, or just use the AI tank and healer if that is an option.
I always enjoyed questing out in the world like WoD and Legion with an NPC from your garrison or class hall, and this would feel similar, except it would look like one of your alts. I’d enjoy it.

I liked follower dungeons but the exp was to low to be practical for leveling…
hopefully this will change.

Warband is just a fancy word for “Account Wide.”
All of your characters will have access to a Warband Bank, Warband Reputation/Renown, Trade Warband Currencies, Warband Achievements, Warband Flightpaths, Warband Gear and Transmogs.
Replace all instances of Warband with Account Wide.
They were supposed to have undone the experience deficits through hotfixes. It should give the same experience as a regular dungeon now.
For the original topic, it would be interesting but I am not finding excitement in the possibility. I guess I don’t play my characters as if they know each other or are friends.

This isn’t directed at you at all, but I wish streamers and the like would stop using this reference. It makes it seem like there are characters outside of our Warband, as well. It just confuses people.
If they mean the four on the select screen, then they need to come up with a name for that specifically.

Definitely would make for solo gearing alts more efficient.
I’m sure fun would get detected if we could get my level 70, 20, 40, 1 and 12 in the same low level place to power level them.
I’d have too much fun with that
They already reverted the XP nerf for followers:
This could be a disaster, because I’ve seen how my characters play when I’m logged onto them and they’re terrible.

It seems REALLY obvious that slot would be filled with an NPC. You’re running with 4 npcs now, if you don’t have a healer, you get a healer npc.
