For context this death sweep actually hit me for 155k but 25k of it was overkill so it only shows 130k. Please at least tell me this requires some sort of setup and not just meta+death sweep.
Also UHDK is wild, being able to force every CD from an entire team with one offensive CD by theirself lol.
DHs have an ability called essence break. Which for the next few seconds it buffs chaos strike and blade dance.
It’s our version of warbreaker, best advice is kick eye beam or cc his demon form, or cc when you see essence.
(If someone kicks eye beam it locks them out and they can’t essence)
You must have misread your combat log or something. Details counts overkill damage, so it did hit you for 131k.
It was probably chaotic imprint + initiative + momentum + meta + essence break + demon soul + essence break and maybe fear sigil into deathsweep. Not a ton of setup considering a lot of that is just part of the standard rotation, but no, deathseep doesn’t just hit that hard without modifiers.
Its insane how much they gave to DH this xpac, nerfs won’t fix the underlying problem and that problem how much they got during the talent revamps
But mage having deep freeze, pom sheep, or blanet silence was out of the questions
