We have shadow priest, why not shadow Paladin?

Scarlet or Kyrian glow are a LOT more fitting, my guess is that if an event like the Warlock green fire quest happens, it’s most likely going to be Scarlet Crusade related.

“Void Paladin” sounds like “Holy Warlock”, something’s off about it.

Mark my words, this will come in Midnight, this will allow void elves to be paladins. Druid and Paladin with 4 specs.

It would be based on the “fallen paladin” lore, as blizz has already published a tier set on it.
If it is to be seperate from dks, it just has to based on something other than death. So shadow, would still work. Void would be better. Could also go fire, chaos, arcane, etc… really anything other than death or holy to seperate themselves from normal paladins and dks.
But do be aware, paladins are the essence of holy while priests only wield the light. Thats why 1. Priests can use shadow and paladins cant. 2. Priests use discipline while paladins have 3 holyish specs. Thats also why in the lore certain paladins were able to break the chains of control of enemies over them while priests usually cant. Lastly, you usually see the light save paladins and not priests. This isnt 100% of the time obviously, but it does happen mostly for paladins

That’s what I believe too, at least I think the thought can’t be dismissed outright.
Not with what we saw in Hallowfall.
Models and spell effect have already been made.

But no, not like that.

Like, pretty obviously it’s gonna be a Hero Spec IF it happens.

They said it was gonna be an evergreen feature and creating a whole NEW spec at this point in WoW on a pre-existing class would imply too many backward work.

Hero Spec are the new borrowed power system, the only thing that changes is that you’ll be able to keep them between expansion if you don’t like the new gimmick.

That’s the medium they would use for it, no point in creating a whole new spec for a class that already has 3 for the 3 roles as well.

Yay yet another person who doesmt care about the lore or universe

Whether someone cares about lore or not is irrelevant, they already made them.

They are in the game as we speak caring about lore is out the window if it’s no longer hypothetical.

The only thing left in the air is whether or not they are made into playable hero specs.

I’m home brewing a dnd campaign where the bbeg will be a void entity and I’m stealing the idea of void paladins. Thanks

This is in no way reason to even entertain such ideas. Again, you domt care this is why you are ok eith this

There is nothing to entertain, they did it.

That’s not up for contention, the mobs exist, we see them in dawnbreaker.

You don’t like it and that’s fine.

But the next “question” is whether they are gonna make this a playable thing or not.

And IF they do, it’s gonna be as an Hero Spec and the next expac is called MIDNIGHT so if there is ever a time to do this that’s where they would.

More likely, they could also do “Elune” paladins, which would still be using the light.
But depending on the amounts of Hero Spec they make, they may very well do both.

It’s not outlandish, the setting lends itself to it regardless of how you or I feel about it.

The plate armor keeps the bad thoughts out. I’d rather have a separate void warrior class that goes just as deep into the void as paladin does into the light.

Paladins are Light specialists in a way, Priest are like ‘‘oh so you CAN use this huh?’’ Alright.

If Hero Classes are an evergreen feature, as Blizzard has said they are intended to be, I think there is at least a moderate chance that every class will get a somewhat void-related Hero Class in midnight.

I know I’m late to the party and all but um… Sir? Those are paladins…

I want silver and/or blue wings and it’s not just because of my mog(I’m lying yes it is) but because that’s just awesome.

nice try. there is no such thing as shadow paladin. you people are silly. paladin has different spec. they are not the same here.
