The craziest thing to me is how dumb that actual video is.
He takes 5 genuinely good pieces of advice insanely out of context and says, “this is a dumb myth! Buy my guide to know the truth!” Then throws on two insanely irrelevant dumb ones at the end to inflate video length??
Imagine making a guide and saying things like, “positioning doesn’t matter” and “damage rotation/fundamentals aren’t important” or, “always juke, buy this guide to learn how to juke better”.
Watched the whole thing. It was essentially just a “well akshually” vid that disagreed then agreed in a milquetoast way the entire time. “Here’s why the forums can be a bad place for help. Buy our guide instead”.
Admittedly I didn’t watch the whole video, I just saw the initial premise, how he hyperbolized it and made a straw man to disagree, then used that strawman to try and sell a guide.
I wouldn’t mind at all if it didn’t feel like a “we know better” rundown on perfect stranger’s random posts. Could have just kept it positive without weirdly naming and shaming and correcting people. I’m Karening a little but it annoys me since people on here help others for free and they do this for sales.
I learned that holding your kick is good. I’m going try that later tbh sounds like great advice. Because if you think about it, it’s the best time to kick to avoid getting juked. Honestly I could see a good player changing when he jukes in order to match this tho.
Wait, isn’t Dozer = Swole? I’m sure they’ve never been seen in the same room together. Also I think even that guy wanting Prot to be OP in pvp for years was more tolerable back when Glad stance was a thing. Can’t remember his name now.
