It just feels weird that in order to shoot people with guns you either need to be a tad too friendly with animals, or have Druidic moon powers, or dabble with Necromancy.
I loved pre-TWW MM because it was such a simple and elegant concept.
Me has gun. Me shoots pew pew. That’s it.
But while I like the Hero Specs for most Classes, I feel like they ruined the whole Lone Wolf MM Hunter archetype.
So yeah, I hope we get a gun-themed Hero Spec for Hunters, and if that’s not on the table, then I hope we get a new Class like “Bounty Hunter” or something that just shoots people without any nonsense attached.
Not to worry, we are gonna get tinker soon and I’m pretty sure they’re going to use guns in one of their specs. So we should have you covered also, this is just me being optimistic and not stating the fact. because I know some subjective pedantic is gonna roll in here and come for my neck so I better be super clear
Yeah it sucks that they made two of the hunter hero trees so specifically elf based. It kinda pigeon-holes every other race into playing the animal one.
100% agree. I have finally come to the acceptance that the gun noise is just this nerfed pitiful noise now but to be forced so much into elf/bow fantasy has put a real damper on the hunter fun.
In general yeah we need another class/spec that uses the ranged weapons. Hunter is the only class that uses guns, bows and crossbows. While they were stat sticks at least in vanilla rogues, and warriors also used them. Maybe a spec for those two? Probably not though.
Huge missed opportunity to not have given rogues a bow spec, we got the military archer with Marksmanship, a more traditional ranger with BM… Where is the scrappy scout?
