We Don't Want Wrath of the Lobby Kings

You literally get more XP/hr by farming/questing while forming group. I do this even on healers/tanks. Its ineffective to focus dungeons only for leveling. Even the pro levelers at RestedXP know this.

After reading the rest of your comment theres nothing really else to reply to its just doubling and tripling down on incorrect information and ineffective leveling.

Yeah no, maybe, later on, it will be. Early it won’t when you are sharing the zones and quests with everyone else. As for those RestedXP guys. They don’t have competition when making those routes. It is unimpeded by the vast majority of the player base.

Ah, yes it is incorrect information because you disagree with it… Well here is the thing. It is faster questing in outland than it was doing dungeons. Guess what people did. Dungeons… why did they do the “slower” options. Because it was faster then the “fastest” options because everyone else was doing the fastest option so that fastest option had ot be shared… thus make it slower.

You have no reply, because you can’t reply in a way that will make you seem correct… because you know you aren’t. You know the vast majority of the player base plays optimally. That is the entire issue and the entire reason why the whole anti-RDF movement started. Because a small portion of the player base wants to play unoptimally in the way they most have fun. So they want to strip the optimal ways out of the game. The thing that group of players seem to miss… is that when you strip the optimal way out of the game. That doesn’t mean that the way you desire everyone else to play is suddenly the optimal way to do things.

No, in this case, the optimal way to play will just be the older optimal way to play. Those XP/hr by farming/questing methods only work when there isn’t everyone else also doing them. This means in the first week it will be quicker to level in dungeons due to the open world being crowded. After that point questing with the occasional dungeon for dungeon quest would be the most optimal route. However, by that point everyone would have already hit max level… and will be getting the pre-bis if they don’t already have it by that point. The only real people you will see is those taking in slow due to real life requirements limiting their time to play. You won’t even see alts at that point because everyone will be waiting until they get their Heirloom gear to start doing alts since boosting isn’t a thing (or at least I haven’t heard of something figuring out a method).

Stop expecting people to play in ways they do not.

You wrote a wall of text for literally no reason. Has nothing to do with disagree; the method you posted earlier is literally slower than questing while looking for a group. No need for essays. Its that simple. Sitting in town typing /4=less xp.

takes longer then a hour to get a dung in LFG because its filled with children talking about politics like politics are real hahahahahahahaha. Legit the most fake made up garbage to manipulate the dumb masses into doing what people in power want, and I gotta listen to a bunch of dummies who think its all real while I’m trying to find a group to heal. at least with RDF I can find 10-12 groups a day and not have to worry about the only 1 or 2 groups a day I can find right now being complete trash and unable to finish the dung.

If they don’t want a lobby game then put in dungeon finder. It’s that simple.

I think honestly the biggest reason people on here are pushing for RDF is because they are DPS that just have trouble getting groups due to the MASSIVE OVERABUNDANCE of them in comparison to tanks and healers. Just think if they actually rolled those the game would be alot healthier but they would rather make all DPS have a consistent queue time because of the latter reason including wanting an ease and guaranteed way of doing dungeons instead of solving the problems themselves.

Yep, more engaging than checking a box

Good news for you then: you can still manually form every dungeon group you run even with rdf in the game!

The dynamic of the game completely changes with RDF. I would not be able to form a group manually because everyone would be using RDF

not our fault a superior system came in and ur friends said PEACE kekw. maybe get some better friends? :)))))

Wait, I thought no one likes rdf?

Oh, but people take the path of least residence that’s why? Yeah ok, you can make that argument about a million things in WoW, but you don’t want them removed.

Nothing is gained by spamming your gear score and how much gold you’re willing to pay to join a dungeon group in a chat window. No social connections are created. It’s pure business. But if that’s what you love, feel free to continue to do it with rdf in the game. It’s good to have options!!

Connections are formed through business all the time. When we’re talking about people on your own server I mean, rather than randoms that you have no chance of interacting with again.

You have chances to interact with them again. And why are short-term interactions meaningless? Not every person becomes a lifelong friend. And there is no community on megaservers either, where everyone will end up.

And with that said…you can always just form your own dungeon groups even with rdf in the game. Invite your friends. Invite your guildies. Invite random people you meet in the world. Having options is great!

Umm, that’s sorta what we do now. Like nearly exactly how the game plays currently for so many players, except we aren’t in Dalaran.

Same thing players were doing in Vanilla Classic. This is the reason people are pissed. We are freaking tired of not being able to play and fully enjoy the content for the game we are paying a subscription for.

Nobody can have everything, y’know.

anti rdf’ers are just upset because their pool of people they can tell to take a hike because “your gs isnt high enough for me” or “your class is clothie, dont want you rolling against me” or “your spec isnt what i want it to be so no go away” would dwindle down and they wouldnt get to lord it over what they consider to be “THEIR” servers.

and before anyone argues this, ive been watching this go on for a month in tbcc on multiple servers, dont care if yoou believe me, dont bother asking for proof cause i dont care what you believe. this IS what is happening… and when its not… LFG is crammed full of garbage chat that makes it near impossible to get a group.

I can’t even tell if this is about RDF or not because RDF players just sit in town waiting for their queue to pop and teleport them inside an instance while chad world appreciators go out and do things while putting together groups for the area they’re in.

having been an rdf player, never did i just sit in town waiting for my que to pop. folks have GOT TO STOP using that as an argument. while im sure there are a few rdf’ers that do that, the majority i know that use and used rdf would que then craft, quest, fish, run dailies waiting for the que to pop. so tired of hearing people say that all rdfers do is sit in town waiting for the que to pop when its the LFG guys and gals that i see doing just that. because you take your eyes off of lfg for 5 seconds and you can miss your invite IF you even get one.

I remember before they mentioned no RDF, how excited I was. I have never gotten back to that excitement months later, even with it a few days away. I don’t feel like using /4 LFG or their stupid tool at all.

What out in the world am I supposed to interact with that I haven’t been already interacting with since 2009?

I just want to play. I don’t want to sit around spamming for a group.
