I take a more neutral stance on this topic anymore. The reason being its all centered around personal anecdotes.
It boils down to convenience versus community. All of us that played og wrath have different experiences. For me and others the game degraded when the 3.3 RDF went live. But for many others the game was enhanced for the better after 3.3 went live because of the RDF.
“Muh convenience” and “muh community” are both equally valid.
Oh wow, OP’s post was unhidden. Hopefully we can get it hidden again, I just reported for trolling.
Not really. Community is entirely subjective and even two people in the same community may hold vastly different opinions on it, whereas convenience is demonstrable and measurable. You can absolutely have a subjective take on it, and too much convenience is a problem, but there’s also the flipside of not enough convenience.
Finding groups was and is in Classic obnoxious outside of large waves of population swings. Once the population settles down, it gets more and more annoying. Most players don’t want to spend time trying to find a group when an existing tool can let them do the dungeon they actually want to do. And it helps immensely for low population realms and for trying to group during non-primetime hours.
Personally, without LFD, I won’t really be playing many alts. It’s simply too obnoxious to group otherwise.

Yes we do want LFD, you and the classic boys can stay playing classic.

report geewizle for being toxic please
It “works”, in so far as it doesn’t bug out, throw up artifacts, have wonky test or crashes the client.
As for if it works to keep dungeon groups accesible and frequent, its a dice roll. What it does with the tiny microcosm of the beta and what it’ll do once live have no correlation.
Um, no, actually, we in the vast majority DO in fact WANT LFD in WotLK.
You are confused with LFR.

Who cares… They both dont exist now and there is little to no World PvP.

100% agree with the OP and the people in this thread — blizz please do not add dungeon finder. Look at this thread and see our resolve— we are legion. Please listen to us- dont do it!
You can agree all you want… But do not assume everyone else wants it… If anything its about a 33% against and 66% are for RDF.

I can agree with that. I just dont like when people leave out important details to support there narrative.
Never killed my social experience. What did is spamming /4 for hours while everyone would rather get boosted or swipe for gear.

So, what you are saying is you want to be reported for abusing the report feature?
Blizzard probably anticipated pushback on the forum when it made the correct decision to get rid of LFD. This forum is where the minority have an opportunity to dissent. Thank goodness Blizz cut through the noise of a raucous few and made the decision to support the majority of players who dont want LFD and who dont even visit here. Ya done good Blizz. I am not sure when reality and acceptance sets in, but it wont be too long now— wotlk is releasing soon! Thanks and keep up the excellent work. Cheers

My fave part of this topic was when a dude switches to like 5 alts to spam No LFD and talk to himself on his other alts lmao.
What a ride.

The fact you think only one person could be agaist rdf shows how close minded you are.
Yeah, want to discuss what those listed groups look like?
An absolute dumpster fire.

Are you forgetting, “a few people and their alts” said by anti-LFD posters in every thread?
I’m not the one who said that now am I?
Either side assuming that is being close minded.
