Thats odd because the question the other person was suggesting was how flying mounts killed the open world. Seeing as your upset at the idea of removing flying mounts along with boost and wow tokens. I would imagine you must of been hardcore retailer player. Perhaps you will find solace in retail.

Flying mounts DIDNT kill the open worldā¦ Blizzard turning WoW from a game that had some exploration to it, to a game with smaller zones that felt more like a theme park is what KILLED the open worldā¦ If YOU played the game since OG Vanilla you would know thisā¦

Just to further add to truth that Oaknchad is wrong. Clearly Blizzard heard time and time again for the past years to stop making the world centered around just ground mount access with flying being a bonus. Instead make the zones around flying so they will feel larger, hence Dragonflight where you actually get new and improved FLYING MOUNT as part of the game. The only sad part is it takes millions of players abandoning ship and a decade of feedback for them to actually do itā¦
Also, just FYI the higher level zones in Northrend where also designed around flyingā¦ You physically cant do most of the quest or get around the zones without a flying mountā¦ Even in Cata added zones there are raids and areas of many zones you can not access without a flying mount.
