Flying is one of the reasons I play WoW instead of some other MMO. So sure, take it away. There are lots of MMOs I haven’t tried yet.

I will never forget the first time I was able to fly and every time I fly in a new zone, I am reminded of this. I love being able to see things from a bird’s eye and I personally don’t understand why flying is gated. People can just use their ground mounts if it’s such a big deal.

It can almost be faster to stone to dalaran (lets assume your stone for z land on a cd), fly to orgrimmar portal, take portal to Z land there and be at the top than it is to fly there from the docks.

You see op if no horde time the path from the docks to the top of the place takes a jacked up route really. We fly in an arc that makes no sense.

Its not like its LAX and yeah outer marker will have lots of planes fly in circles to free up approaches for several planes per hour.

It can be as simple as fly right up the darn building. Wow flight has mixed flight all the time. One time from boralus another player and I were layered over each other till they split off like a minute later lol.

This character cares… It’s a major pain mining and herbing with 10 mobs beating on you. With flying and stirrups, gathering is MUCH faster.

The simplest solution is to have a flying vs non flying sub price and unlock it via that.

Current sub price == no flying
New sub price around 89.95/mo == flying

problem solved and Blizz would surely benefit.

I get that you are trying to be funny, but why the hell not? Go for it Blizzard, remove flying altogether and let’s see where the game ends up. It would be nice experiment that hasn’t been tried before. :smiley:

I care, please don’t speak for me. I’d happily see pathfinder die and be replaced by a fee like every expac before WOD.

Flying will not help you have lasting fun memories, the reason people look back on things with nostalgia is that they worked hard or had to do a hard thing and then got something out of it. You’re going to remember the annoying quest that takes forever to get to because the pathing is so awkward and it will be like an inside joke to you. All flying will do is make the whole game a joke to you, you’re shooting yourself in the foot.

I really wish people wouldn’t tell me what I’m nostalgic for, try to speak for me, tell me how to enjoy the game, or tell me if I’m having fun. So please stop trying to speak for others. I have no doubt you believe that and stand by that. I however completely disagree with you on every single point.
