They’re adding gender equivalent classes already, not all of them are in this version though.

I was thinking of trying it, but the more I hear about it, the more it sounds like your run of the mill predatory f2p mobile game. $100 dollar founders pack, store skins with stat bonuses, store currency. People who call WoW p2w but aren’t even raising an eyebrow over those things are massive hypocrites.

From what I’ve seen, it’s more Pay to Skip with boosting to end raid content. There’s a whack of the exploration stuff in particular where you can’t pay to complete it.
It was already being added to the Korean version due to player feedback. No West required.

I was not happy last night seeing the shutdown notice around 2100. 4 hour maintenanace shutdown had me suffer a few wintergrasps of pain last night. Was kind of hoping to not be a US based patch server cycle. Just once it be nice…
Asian game…lets have them run on asia time lol. Shut this down US players time for a change.
but 20+ years in the asia/oce region has me used to this.

I’d say it’s bop-inspired, but indirectly through the filter of '60s TV themes. Bond music does fall into that category. Peter Gunn, Johnny Quest, Batman… It all came from bop.

I suspect the game will lose a lot of west audience in the first few months. But I could be wrong, maybe people are desperate for bad mmos to throw away money at - and the game really succeeds at the latter.
Not a fan of the isometric / 2.5D thing and that’s enough to keep me from trying it. If I’m gonna play something that looks like that, I’ll just load up DOS2 again.
I apologize for not thinking lost ark is the messiah of the mmo industry I guess?
games fine, it’s just way overhyped and I can’t quite figure out why, none of its features really stand out.

to say, i really like my journey in lost ark so far, i like the new character i made, a striker and like his attacks and the diversity in skills but i don’t understand half of the systems in the game
i find funny that many persons left wow because of grinding and systems and praise lost ark that have more complicated systems and have a lot of grinding to do in the game to be competitive
