So in order to play TBC, we have to wait the whole vanilla timeline that we did 3 times since 2019 with season of mastery and season of discovery ( even if it wasn’t the authentic vanilla experience it was still the same content ). They should at least launch TBC era servers.

It was about 2 years from classic launch to tbc. It hopefully won’t be that long. I also hope tbc is permanent

if you look at the classic roadmap they posted TBC wont start until Winter next year !

Their timeline for TBC:Classic will be the end of next year and I guarantee that’ll only be around for like 6-8 months before it gets progressed to wrath classic again. Blizzard REALLY let the streamer hate for TBC influence everything they do. Screw this company.

From 2005 to end of Wrath original, my ranking would have been like this:
Vanilla > Wrath > TBC
Now?
Vanilla = TBC > I literally won’t play Wrath again.

Just lvl up a toon to 60 and let it rot on this new ded servers till TBC comes. You will get fresh gear questing in tbc anyways so don’t need Naxx gear

Wrath was great from a story perspective. TBC was great from a gameplay perspective. Even if TBC was pretty basic by today’s standards, there were still a lot of things to do that lead you into other things. Gold farming lead you into conflict with the other faction which got you into PvP. Same with rep grinding and etc., etc…
I don’t want another Wrath classic that they’ll inevitably ruin with the wow token. I want TBC, but apparently I’ll never have a permanent TBC era server because screw me I’ve only been a paying customer for over 20 years.

Well they better give it to us. No way I am playing on the new servers unless they commit to TBC Era. I will just unsub when I get too bored of TWW, which is pretty much right now. On the other hand, if they promise we won’t be forced into Wrath a third time, I will keep my sub and play vanilla on the new servers until the Dark Portal opens.
