I started back in wotlk, and by the time I really knew wtf was going on dungeon finder was out. It was out for 48 percent of wotlk. We are starting classic wotlk with later patches that should have it, and many of us just patiently waited like 2 years for this expansion and it’s features. You vanilla and tbc folks had your time in the spotlight, it’s our turn now. If you don’t like it you should go back to retail because that’s where they got this crappy alternative brian convinced them to put in instead.

Making the game accessible and efficient doesn’t destroy the community aspect, making it EASY does. Nerfing quests so you can do them alone, obliterating crafting skills and simply creating mechanics that make it single player diminishes the social aspect. We had LFD in Cata and almost every dungeon had social interaction. People stopping to explain fight, people chatting and sharing advice, stopping to tell which mobs to CC…why? Because you HAD to. I got so many guild invites after runs and it is the only expansion where I actually met people to put on my friends list.
You’re basically saying take a convenience and make it unconvenient That’s exactly what they put in the game Your entire justification is around a gameplay style that for most players just does not happen.
Most people have flying mounts Most people want to get to the dungeon and most people do not talk in groups And it’s even going to be even less and wrath.
And gear score is going to come back you want to talk about toxicity It’s going to be a 100 times worst Than anything LFD ever brought.
You know how I know that it’s a problem in the game now And LFD is just kind of there in a tool use for Leveling most of the time.

You do realize that all these expansions were once “retail” right? These expansions share similar systems to the modern iterations. LK has a random group finder.

They have a group they “listen” to.
There really is no “debate”. LK had a dungeon finder, this is a rerelease of LK. Classic purists argue they didn’t want changes, therefore, they should remain consistent even it is a system they don’t like.
Of course, if somebody just doesn’t want it because they don’t want it, then yes, “only their mommy cares about what they want”.
They’re actually pretty enjoyable on alts.

I would guess (conservatively) that at least 70% of players want dungeon finder in the game, so hopefully they cave to popular demand, and common sense before launch
