There was nothing about dinars in the 11.1.5 content post from earlier.

I know that there has been a fear from the devs about discussing dinars and mentioning them anywhere. It’s been avoided many times.

So please rest assured we have not forgotten about them and you will not rugpull us on dinars without people knowing it’s happening and calling it out. If you’re going to shove horrible group loot down people’s throats, dinars are the compromise.

yes, i would like to see an update regarding when we will be receiving the puzzling cartel chips.

What’s hilarious about this is that Icy Veins just posted an article yesterday about them, as though they are just assuming the cartel chips will be in the patch and we just don’t know the acquisition source yet. At this point it’s a far safer assumption that they will not be in with the lack of any real announcement.

Cheers to that. This is a big deal to players and it’s been promised twice now. It’s time to deliver.

Me thinks dinars will not be raid renown related now, might be a reward or objective of a patch.

We all could use it in this next .5 patch while there is still somewhat high interest in the game, the dinar when the season is in a strong decline (.7) is pointless.

The fact that they have refused to discuss them in any way, nobody on PTR found any source of them, and 0 datamining has been about them tells me we’re getting rug pulled.

Have we received any updates from blizzard on the puzzling cartel chips yet?

I am very interested to know when and how we are going to receive them.

They’ve been to lazy to do even a singular class change - we are absolutely not getting Dinars. That rug is pulled, sorry.

Everything coming in 11.1.5 makes no mention of dinars.
They’ve been flat out removed with no communication. Amazing.

Technically the item is already in the game and just unobtainable (plus no vendor to spend them at). It is possible they eventually hotfix in what they had planned to do with them, but at this point I’m not holding my breath.

it’s not group loot that’s the issue, its’ the whole RNG BS where things you want dont want to drop until after your raid team has “taken a hiatus” for the rest of the season–which makes it pointless.

I’m sick of them not just making a decision on this. People like this system, so why NOT give it to them?

  • Dinars EVERY SEASON; but you can only get these items in raid to get RAID loot. Each boss can drop 1 (no matter the difficulty) which the chances to get one increasing as you progress further into the raid. I’d be fine with also making one drop from a chest in a key but chances are low but get higher as you get closer to the 8 keys per week to max out vault.
  • Items start at “LFR” item levels and you must use crests to upgrade them; and they can be upgraded all the way to Myth track (crests are already locked down on weekly caps so this is NOT something that would be OP)
  • Acquisition rates for the dinars themselves are low (one every other week?) and they increase to every week only AFTER 2 months into the season
  • “Very Rare” items are 3 or 4 dinars/bullions each, everything else costs 2
  • Dinars remain BoP

There is NOTHING wrong with this system other than Blizz’s RIDICULOUS fear that people will un-sub each season. As long as they keep coming back each new season, I just dont see the issue here.

I guess Dinars ended up with the same Dev that was supposed to make sure Odyn’s Fury remained a powerful signature ability for Fury Warriors.

I see we are back to Shadowlands blizzard of empty promises. Unfortunate.
