I went from dwarf starting area at level 10 all the way to mulgore to get the pet
Took me like 2.5 hours to do it.

Luckily darkshore isn’t too far from durotar
I did Kharanos to Wetlands via death skip, took boat to Theramore, died 15 times getting to barrens then to mulgore.
