By the way, if you watch the youtube clip on the new DK starting experience, as far as I could tell, all of the DK leaders (the new four horsemen) were rocking 2handers. I think Bliz is starting to appreciate the 2h theme of the DK.

And this is exactly what people cant understand because they cant see past the idea that just getting it back will solve all of their problems.
Right now, 2h will be gimped if all they are doing is lift weapon restrictions. DW will still have the extra 15% frost damage, still have extra KM procs, still have half crits on Obliterate and Frost Strike, mastery + razorice just keeps on increasing DW power.
If its not done properly then you will have a few running around doing world quests and heroics, but trying to push m+ or anything else is going to be tough, tough just trying to get into a group. Like a shield wielding arms warrior for shield slam to try to make a glad stance type of spec. If its not supported with the rest of the spec its inevitable to fall behind.
Just look at the doomsayers, its cute, alpha is not even out yet

Sorry that being realistic is a problem for you that you would call people doomsayers.
That outcome is very likely if nothing is done. 2h and DW ability damage right now is almost identical and it really comes down to ilvl as to what is better. Its been pretty normalized.
And alpha wasnt out yet and you guys were screaming about getting 2h⊠so why cant people bring up the fact that 2h and DW are not on the same playing field, not even close.
You donât know if nothing is done, you donât know how it will be
thats why im saying you freaking out now is meaningless without an alpha to look at and see if they indeed, did nothing

Doesnât matter, 2H is in. I will play it for better or worse. You know why? Because I enjoy the fantasy of the class/weapon setup.

Great, but you arent the rest of the people that do care about balance. Or is your voice just so much more valuable than other people in an MMO? You know those people that would like to be on a more level playing field.
I think itâs safe to say that most people do care about balance. However the burden of balancing the game isnât for us to solve. Thatâs a Blizzard problem. Maybe they will, maybe they wonât. Itâs too soon to tell. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

i think you want the 2H option to be implemented bad in shadowlands, with problems, so you can point out âi told you soâ to people, but, too bad for you, people will play with 2H anyway, even behind or with problems, cause being behind is not a issue for some and problems can be fixed
