We really need this recipe with the release of Blackwing Lair. Farming for elemental fires is not possible for the average raider. With the release of Blackwing lair the number of people farming them greatly increased. The drop rate is extremely low and there’s constant competition.
Even spending hours trying to farm I can’t come up with a stack.

id agree with you if there were off hours you could farm, but the way layering works stops “off hours” from happening.
i farm them in ungoro, which has a bad drop rate (but i also collect mountain sage so its worth it to me) and over the last couple weeks i have also noticed a lot more people coming to farm them.
its still possible if you get lucky, but elemental fires are pretty scarce right now.
you will get it on the appropriate phase just like every other classic iteration 
They are farmable in BRD which is an instance and can be infinitely farmed
