Just came back to the game for the first time since the first months of Classic’s launch and was having a great time catching up in gear with BG’s. It was fun while it lasted, one BG. It irks me that there are others bragging about how much Honor they’ve gained while I’m now behind those players due to not being online at the right time.
Tried to do an AV before posting this and got kicked out. Had no idea what that was about until I came to the forums. I see you have your priorities in order.
I might’ve been binge-playing the game all night if it would’ve stayed the same. Now I’ve logged off of the game for the night. It’s not worth dealing with the issues with the new amount of honor awarded and I’m a bit peeved by the situation.
I’d been following the negativity surrounding Blizzard and the game I formerly loved but was enjoying my experience. I feel like I got a taste of everything I’ve been hearing about in my first few hours back to WoW since 2019 and it’s kinda sad. My consideration to buy Shadowlands and try to get into Retail again hasn’t exactly been influenced in a positive way.

What else did you expect man? You’ve just burned the entire community, we only have 2 weeks to farm these (people gonna need to take time off work to get this done now) - because initial Prepatch was 6 weeks.
What exactly did you think was going to come out of this? You aint helping anyone in the community here. You’ve burned us all!

Just got kicked out of an AB where we were 5capping. You quickly rush fix the issue that gets us more honor but not the one that’s wrecking us. If you want to fix something, fix THIS issue. Every time it happens, it also wipes our other queues. We queue 3 BGs, get a prompt, take it, 5m in, get kicked out, other queues gone, all time wasted. Fix THIS issue first!
So first you don’t tell anyone about release dates until a week before it’s out. Then we lose a day at launch. Now we’re being screwed in BGs. At this point why don’t you just extend the prepatch period? You’re probably going to have more problems when you open the portal anyway. Calling it now.

This has got to be one of the most deflating feelings I’ve had with the game, lol. The last AV I was in before the game forced me out, I was at 14 bonus honor. How can anyone get motivated with that? On top of that, we can barely finish the actual match.
C’mon yo, just revert this change for the prepatch at least, and let people have fun. That’s what the game is all about.
Edit: I ain’t even mad at the OP for snitching. What’s crazy is how quick Blizzard actually went to hotfix this when there’s more pressing issues to attend to (like getting booted out of BG’s constantly).

Nice to know Blizz is quick to fix a way for players to have fun and gear alts fast but their retail client is littered w bugs they havn’t fixed since the game came out almost half a year ago that is actually detrimental to the competative scene (MC bug)

Blizzard forgets the fact that this is their promised “EXTENDED PREPATCH” and it was 2 weeks long not even.
They forget already that we waited for 20 hours for servers to come up yesterday.
They fail to see that farming honor was one of the key highlights of this prepatch and generally speaking a healthy thing for the game and its player base that will now cease to exist.
I personally thought it was intended to make up for the previous issues they created that I mentioned here but I forgot blizzard never compensates us.
