Wdym “live action”
The Hobbits of Peter Jackson’s films(which have the Hobbits be Live Action rather than CG at the very least) look like small Humans while the Hobbits of the 3 Animated Films(2 of which The Hobbit and The Return of the King use the exact same art style) look like Beardless Dwarves just as Gnomes in WoW do.
ogre hobbits? you mean kul tirans?
Hobbits are already in the game. They are called Grummels and Pygmys.

How dare you belittle the Gnomes.
Haflings, that’s what they are called in EQ at least. Oddly enough they only come out to 49.99% the average height of other races.
EQ had gnomes, dwarves and halflings. Gnomes in both EQ and WoW are highly technologically focused, while halflings are agricultural/agrarian. The gnomes had a clock-work city and their king was either a robot, or a brain in a jar. I can’t remember which.
Halflings were between a gnome and a dwarf in size, and of course plump. EQ also had an even smaller unplayable race, the Brownies. Which were like little natural spirits/fae-folk that were tribal and lived in mushroom villages.
They also tended to be way tougher than they ought to be for something the size of a wood elf’s foot. It wasn’t uncommon for evil races to run afoul of them in Lesser Feydark and die an embarrassing death.
Nae.
Underson has spoken.
Gnomes??? Looks like meat’s back on the menu!
The attorneys on retainer by both Daybreak (the owners of LotRO) and Blizzard say:

who the hell let daybreak buy lotro? RIP lord of the rings franchise
From Wikipedia:
“In late 2016 it was announced that the publishing of the game would transfer from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to Daybreak Game Company, with development being taken over by Standing Stone Games”.
I’ve never played LotRO. Is (was) it any good?
So, I have this idea for a great movie. It’s about two gnomes who find a bracelet of power, and they have to take it to the Burning Steppes and cast it into the Cauldron. They form the Brotherhood of the Bracelet. Along the way they’re trailed by a murloc named Gottom, who’s obsessed with the bracelet, and nine bracelet bogeymen. It could be a three-parter, called ‘Ruler of the Bracelet’. The first part would be called ‘The Brotherhood of the Bracelet’, followed by ‘A Couple of Towers’, with the climactic ending called ‘Hey, the King’s Back!’
You have vulpera
Darn tootin’, buddy! We’re even barefoot…most of the time.
We are not!
No cookie for you cuz you’re mean.
I honestly forgot about this and…I didn’t think the LOtR movies were old enough for that reference when it was made.
I feel old now ![]()
Remember that scene in Lord of the Rings where Gimli rode in on a motorcycle and pulled out a sniper rifle? That was my favorite.
