Ways to make Torghast more enjoyable

I understand that you might like/dislike Torghast…

But as seeing there are so many “I dislike Torghast” threads…

What are some ideas that could be added to Torghast to make it more enjoyable and fun for most players?

Would appreciate replies more than just “fix class balance” or “make it not boring” and more ideas around being things that could be fun for players.

Ex: Secret Cow level, D3 Rainbow unicorn level, etc.

Custom maps.

Leaderboards

Weekly affix changes.

Custom anima powers that auto apply to you when you enter, pre set at the podium, being able merge traits from different animas you’ve gathered throughout Torghast, requiring 3 acquisitions of that power to unlock it at the podium.

More cosmetics locked behind different layer 8 TC bosses, mount remaining 100%, dope cosmetics locked behind individual bosses.

challenge instead of relying on gimmicks to kill a boss because it hits harder then an atomic bomb

more anima powers
seriously it’s lacking

less floors
I can go through like 3 floors until I get bored and just leave

Weekly affix changes, leaderboards, and custom layers/levels does sound like a good idea and could be quite fun.

Not to mention cosmetics… which Torghast is in general lacking since it gives basically only Soul Ash to begin with, it’d be nice to receive something to look like the mobs inside Torghast or something.

You’d like to see what type of usable loot drop though?

Gear, toys, mounts or?

Gear upgrades.

Tired of Heroics/LFR being my only path.

Doesn’t covenants now provide an entire set of 190 gear?

190’s? That’s worse than Normal CN.

Normal CN drops 200 IL gear.

Would like to see at least one piece of gear drop or a toy or something at least for completing higher layers of Torghast.

Fun fact, that was removed from the Alpha/Beta. I’m advocating that returns.

Let it be a leveling alternative from 10-60 some how.

That is like POTD in FFXIV. Not a bad idea

Being able to leave and then return at the same spot with the same powers. My main DPS characters can clear 6 levels in a reasonable time but my Holy Priest can take an hour and 15 minutes to clear floors 1-6.

Oooo! Yeah that would be nice. At least have a reason to do Torghast weekly and push your layers up.

Do you have any ideas to add more fun into it though? Most people in the threads complaining about it say it’s not fun.

You mean like unlock Torghast account-wide so you can level through completing the layers/levels?

Twisting Corridors cosmetic rewards are lacking (As in there aren’t enough of them). Add dyes that can recolour the legendary gear to the alternate colours that were datamined during alpha and beta.

Add an optional dye slot to the top of the Runecarver UI where the dye can be inserted. It could also be applied to existing legendary items without needing to upgrade them as well.

The reason you see more “i dislike torg” threads is cos people who like it just play it.

The only thing Torg needs, in my opinion as some one who has completed this iteration is, we need some sort of permanent progression on endless.

Much like in how in Hades the weapons stayed upgraded and you had the mirror for permanent upgrades.

Torghast needs this system, so when you fail a run or voluntarily leave a run cos you had horrible power RNG, you still gain something out of a run, whether it is xp for passives or something like that.

Yes. I would really prefer it tbh. It and a mix of PvP.

Maybe completing it gives a token that you can exchange for gear specialized for Torghast and you can upgrade the pieces PvP style. *for leveling only

I think adding Dyes locked behind layers would be a good idea since there’s TONs of recolors in WoW that we can’t even get in the first place.

Would be nice to just add a color palette in general added.

Would love to see them give out an armor set out for completing layers to look more like the mobs that we kill inside of Torghast. They look great.

Do you not agree that Torghast could have more “fun” features added though?

Like “secret” levels that happen sometimes, or silly mobs to kill, or just random things to happen more often?

That’d be dope :weary: gimme
