Storm’s Fury kind of feels like the boss fight for Primalist Storms but I think it could use some tweaks to make it more fun.
Closing the portals doesn’t feel rewarding at all. None of the mobs that attack them drop anything. Sometimes you can pull in random mobs nearby and they drop elemental overflow, why not the attackers?
The portals take too long to close. Maybe a wave or two less would be better, but if they actually dropped something, this wouldn’t be so bad.
Should there be another step involved, like kill these 3 rares? Just the portals then the boss feels like there’s something missing.
The boss’s health could be toned down a bit more. Reducing the health of the adds was nice but the bosses still feel like they take too long.
The chest should give a decent chunk of elemental overflow if the mobs aren’t dropping anything. Storm’s Fury only happens every few hours, getting more overflow from it wouldn’t invalidate the regular storms.
For convenience, have a vendor for elemental overflow on the platform? You can only buy a few things with the new currency, and probably no one is going to get the neck, maybe a trinket or one of the rings. A way to convert some essence of the storm to elemental overflow would be an option too.
