Pulling the entire dungeon while some dps are dying to stray mobs 3 miles behind, then sceeaming at people for dying. In a normal dungeon btw
Crazy that the game has devolved to this lol

How and why are players dying to “stray mobs” “miles behind” the tank?
Cool name. c:
They attacked them.
And pulled aggro.
Mobs will have some casters, and those casters pulse aoe dmg that hits the squishy dps and healers despite how far along the tank is.
The normal dungeons I’ve been in (and it’s been quite a few) have been pretty chill. It’s the heroic dungeons that are out of control with dps pulling.
Really? Normals pacing? Do you have too many wives, jobs, and hobbies to be good enough to go fast in a normal dungeon?
Sounds like those players made a mistake.
Interrupts and other crowd control, line of sight, keeping up with the tank… Plenty of ways to avoid this.
If you want your dungeons to be toxic, that is in your control. If you lay awake at night unable to sleep because other people aren’t being forced to live out the nightmare scenario of toxicity you have envisioned for them, that’s your problem.
The nightmare scenario of toxicity…
…of holding w until you’re satisfied with the pull.
What horror.
Yeah been leveling a tank and definitely noticed DPS often ninja pulling, almost causing a wipe in one case (healer was MVP that time)
I usually pull a decent amount but not excessive to the point of pushing my healer to overdrive, specially if those packs have annoying mobs.
Not all the time my guy, some people take a ton of dmg during the run to the LOS, and most importantly since tanks all have…erm… creative routes rn, many wont know where the tank is really even going. healer then has to heal, rips the aggro because incompentent tanks didnt even tag the mobs, just ran past them.
You really can tell who doesn’t do keys in these normal dungeons when you tank.
People who do keys recognize that you are on your mount rounding up mobs and won’t attack them until you dismount. That doesn’t happen in these. People will open up on the first pack they see even if you’re mounted.
I had 2 groups who couldn’t get past the Fire mage mini boss in Priory because they refused to interrupt him and let him sit in the back with 1/3 hp after they body pulled random packs.
So when a damage dealer attacks an enemy and gets aggro because the tank is doing a large pull, it’s “not always” their fault? Ok, you’re entitled to your incorrect opinion. I only hope the Titans bless me with your continued absence in my groups. Cheers.
Wait till you get to heroics.
Because that’s what happens when a tank is bad.
It’s really frustrating when you’re trying to level a squishy melee. There’s so much AoE that it can be impossible to get in close without getting your HP chunked. Hoping that it dies down once Mythics open.
chocolate/peanut butter ads. You got fortnite in my wow!
Yeah what? Just follow the tank, run the mobs over to the tank. Even if the tank is like 3 miles ahead of you just run over to him?
I am a fortnite tank little bro
