If pvp gear scale up for when your in pvp it should Scale Down when your in Mythic Plus it also Scale Down Heroic or Mythic this would fix issues of pves paying for boost but sill lets player with entery lvl gear to enter a normal raid or mythic 0 to build a pve set
So Basically its ilvl is below a mythic 0 and a normal raid ilvl but still use able and passable pieces but when go into a mythic i would say plus 6 or a heroic raid it drops 30 ilvls… and this wear crafting and trade skills come into play for game limited 3-4 just shy of or heroic i lvl gear pieces so player can fix there stats and replace useless pieces and get pass small barrer to entry
any ways blizzard you work math just make scale down i mean it should be a hard fix
only pieces i wouldn’t make it scale down is some pvp trinket maybe rings neck some of trinkets seem harder piece to get drops for

PvP gear should not scale down in any Mythic. It just simply should not be allowed in a Mythic, period. No PvP gear in PvE.
I have never run into a problem with people coming into raids or dungeons rocking full PvP gear.
i tanked aotc sepulcher in my 1400 pvp set last season.

I have healed in PvP gear. But best bet is to go full PvE gear for max effect.

sure, but having your PVP gear viable in PVE means i don’t have to farm and maintain a whole separate set just for my 2.5 hours of raiding per week.
S1 didn’t have the WoD like downscaling in PVE we have now, and when you combined that with the fact that they tuned M+ to not drop any gear, lots of M+ players flocked to PVP to grind a set out just to get something, blizz already fixed that and they haven’t been back since.
for DF our gearing complaints in PVP have been fixed, and while you can still buy a carry to get the best PVE ilvl on your PVP gear, it will still be suboptimal compared to a pure PVE set, so anyone buying a carry in PVP for PVE is just trolling their wallet.
I would like the old system back to where you had to have almost full maxed out PvP gear to be effective in PvP and full PvE gear to be effective in PvE. Rings and trinks shouldn’t matter. Other stuff though, yea. Bring back PvP resilience and resil gear as well. That way you don’t get some full maxed out Mythic + player steamrolling all the other players with maxed out mythic gear.

im viable for going in normal and mythic 0 then after Scales Down if go into anything higher Heroic Mythic Raids and Mythic + 5 or 6 were ever 2nd afix comes in Make People play game and stop paying for arena carries and ruining pvp for people who like pvp this can End 50% or more of all Boosting in Pvp
the issue with that is that maintaining multiple sets for multirole players is a bear of a chore in modern wow. and when you add in things like people may be doing dialies while queued for PVP, and then you end up with all sorts of issues with swapping gear or finding yourself in the wrong set at the wrong time.
resilience is still around in the form of versatility, the main difference being that vers doesn’t stack high enough to make you invulnerable, and it also doesn’t make one of your only two stat allocations on any piece completely worthless for PVE. vers is resilience+ what they should do is remove vers as a tanking stat and remove it from PVE gear, this would make it a PVP only stat.

nobody is doing that atm, people paying for arena carries are doing it for the mog, the mount, or the ilvl for random bgs.
AGREE 100% resilience But I’m sick of PVE use PVP as BOOST Not one them really want be pvping there just using it for gearing okay i get that but Make it so Worthless Gear competitive raiding and mythic plus at some point it cut so so so much paid boosting out of game!
Yea it is something I wish they could do. But I dont think it would be possible for me on this toon. my bags are always full. I’ll empty them and then they become full two days later.
WoW could do it how other MMOs do it to where we have wardrobes that we can go to get put on our gear. That way there are zero pieces of gear in our bags. That would be the only way we could have multiple sets now.
OP, you are complaining about a problem from S1 that was fixed in S2, is still fixed today, and still looks to be fixed for DF.
if you still think PVP gear needs to be nerfed into the ground, that is just you being petty.

The Point is If want pvp or pve then get in that lane and stay in your lane don’t come in one or other and being able to smash just because your were lucky or paid and got boosted This crap needs stomp out and way do it is Using pvp scaling in reverse for high end raiding Mythic heroic and mythic plus other wise gear should be entry lvl pieces for normal and mythic 0 and maybe plus 2 3 4 and cut off a 5s and if piece become a issue let crafting step in to bridge gaps

why? whats wrong with players from different parts of the game playing together? not every run is a record attempt or rating push, that doesn’t mean people want to be stuck to sad level content to play socially.
