This was availble in alchemy in vanilla wow. Why isnt it available in classic?!
Nope, there are water breathing elixirs and swim speed potions, but no water walking potions were in vanilla. They might have added it to the game files in vanilla, hence it showing up on wowhead classic, but it wasn’t added to the actual game until like tbc or wrath

That makes fishing suck. My favorite past time. No rafts either…nothing. not two boxing with a shammy on auto follow either. Kinda dumb
From what I remember it was added in late TBC.
… and those things come in handy! Did the treasure hunting etc quests behind Stromguard last night and popped the 30 min water breathing pot and took 29.5 minutes to complete all the quests… surfacing just once on the mast of a sunken ship to drink.
Fish from the beach like a normal azerothian.

Oh most definitely, I would recommend everyone leveling up grab a stack of swim speed/water breathing elixirs every time they pass through a major city. You don’t need them lots, but when you do they save a lot of time.
Also I don’t see how not being able to walk on water makes fishing any better or worse
